Chiptune Collaborations with friends <3 <3

Well, I gathered some friends together again to make this happy tune. WOOOO its been a little while since I've got to do a collaboration with these Sega warriors and they ripped it up! Dropbit and myself had a cool beat/bassline going so we bounced it to Dya. He crafted up the sweet main melody and to wrap it up Jredd slayed the chords in the lovely ending section.

So, my buddy Aaron and I have crafted a fun tune together in VGM Music Maker. It was all inspired from his improv piano tune for weekly beats which can be found here: http://weeklybeats.com/#/diagamblic/music/drop-it

While it's core was based around this, a few tweaks and revisions later it quickly took on a life of it's own. I'm quite pleased that he was kind enough to let me post this here, and of course thanks everybody for 1,400 follows!

Thanks once again to @Diagamblic for providing that awesome string section. It was a loop he made and then cut up into smaller chunks to fit into the PCM Sample channel. I'm pretty sure moves like that are so good they should be illegal not to mention his solid FM square waves. Let's not forget @Groovemaster303 for throwing down some rad glitch beats and a killer FM trumpet solo. You guys are the best :).

Well, another milestone happened! I want to thank @Diagamblic , @honinmyoaudio & @Robugaa for helping me throw down on this killer Sega Arcade track in Deflemask. In case you guys are curious who did what. I'll break it down. I did the intro and passed it off to Aaron (Dya) who did that fantastic bell solo and I backed him up on some bongo drums for the extra percussion. Next, in comes Tom (Honinmyo) with his killer horns and drum change ups and for back up I added some drum glitches and adjusted the volume a little here to try and keep all parts level. After that, Rob (Robugaa) comes in with an absolute killer jazz breakdown, and to back him up I just kept the drum glitches going. Last but not least I close things out with a chill breakdown that is a tribute to one of Aaron's earlier solo tracks and we loop back around to the start! All in all, I think it's a great team effort and I am very pleased to share this with you all today. Also, huge shout out to Delek for making such a rad tracker! Thanks guys, this one was a lot of fun :D.

Neon Dreams is my debut album release and a very eclectic compilation of original VGM inspired music (and 2 covers!) I composed and/or arranged over the course of the past 2 years with some help from Rudy Escobar and Trevin Huges (Jredd) collaborating with me on a good portion of the tunes. 

Every song on this album was lovingly crafted for maximum listening enjoyment using various video game console trackers (VGM MM, Famitracker, Deflemask as well as Renoise and guitars recorded in Reaper.
