In the minds of many, his credentials are well known and will need not introduction, but for the legend that he is, Space Ace deserves a tip of the hat and nod to his involvement and influence through the formative years and evolution of the scene we know and love.

Space ACE is the DJ’s DJ, never approaching a set as just playing some awesome tunes… but painstakingly thinking about each track, where it fits and journey he wants to take you on and expert use of sampling. If you have been lucky enough to be on the dancefloor when Space is playing, you will remember that his distinct style and carefully curated sets were the stuff of legend. 

The Rave’s Space played at were hard to count, but here’s a few to get your mind buzzing about the dancefloors he’s rocked:

Being fairly nomadic in spirit, Space has journeyed from Perth more than once with stints in Darwin and most recently Melbourne, continuing to pursue his love and connection with Art and Music
In 2012, Space set up his podcast Zoo & Ace Cybernetics, where you can listen to some amazing set and get your ears around his progressive releases under DJ spACE.

Not only is spACE a faultless DJ and excellent producer, but he is also one of the nicest humans you will ever meet… and if your lucky, you may see him back on flyers in Perth in the near future…

October 10, 2021 finally closes a three year chapter of some sort of test or lesson I've been dealing with.  To put myself through this test, it was a Friday Night/Saturday Night combo of gigs which is the first time I have gotten a full weekend since 2018.

The ultimate test was driving upstate 200 miles from Long Island & drive right back and hop on a flight to Chicago.  So close to missing the flight, but I made it, had an awesome time and came home and right into the lab to create something in the studio.  

Positive results here.  My Electro/Breaks stuff has improved by 300% and I'm glad I got the chance to do this for David Tee, now I am even more inspired then I was.  Take the download as a free gift to my completed mission.

E.S.O.R - Rave Greats Mix Series Vol. 4 - Part One (91 - 92) with Rob Fender

Summer of 1990 saw us heading to Kent quite a bit as we had quite a few mates from there that came out raving with us in 1989. My brother had secured a small farm with a a little farm house in a place called Baddlesmere, a place out past Swale for a nice little outdoor illegal rave for our London and kent mates. I know it reached the local papers but I don't have any copies anymore.

 My brother had named his promotions New Age productions and had quite a few plans for raves in 1991.

This mini mix features quite a few tracks that remind me of the event. I know there's a VHS knocking about of this party so I may well get it converted and up on YouTube.

Authentic Time Capsule opened after 30 years.  The best thing about the original Bonesbreaks series was how we opened up so many young producers brains, especially in the U.K.  It was like, £20 pounds, come right in.  Every bedroom producer said "I can do this", and they did.
