Hilltown Disco returns with their 12th Angel in our ongoing 'Angel Series', Persephone.

All profit goes towards the worthy mental-health project, Art Angel, who continue to change the lives of people in the Dundee area. The charity is run by those who have been through similar experiences, and offers a safe place for people to discover and rediscover themselves through many different art-forms. Buenos Aires-based platform Sonôsfera teams up with Berlin’s Danzee and EX:IN | IN:EX to present 'Music For Horses I & II', the latest vinyl release from Argentinian sound artist Primeiro...A standout moment from the release is the slowed-down version of 'The Appearance' - a besotted medley of rearranged harp chords, warped synths, and micro-glitch drum patterns. Join us on Saturday 16th August at Inverted Audio Record Store in Peckham for an all vinyl session from @verdant-recordings label boss Andy Green to celebrate the release of 'Rain on Window' from Istanbul-based producer @havantepe.   

Consisting of three solo tracks and two remixes, 'Rain on Window' blends minimal dub techno with atmospheric electronics, primed to enthral the most discerning of listeners.

The free to attend in-store event commences at 6pm and ends at 9pm. We’ll have copies of ‘Rain on Window’ on sale at the in-store, so be sure to join us for a dance!

Singapore-born, London-based producer @yingtuitive introduces herself with 'Letters To Self 寫情書', a deeply personal debut LP arriving on Will Hofbauer’s @thirdplacerecords.

Across eight original compositions, 'Letters To Self 寫情書 'unfolds as a sonic diary, a search inward, a series of tender emotional missives to the self. "Every musical moment in this album is essentially a letter to my self in some form," she explains.

A lysergic cloaked story is told in the Mondayz EP; your audio travel visa will be initiated on the A side of the ride through lush permeating pads, epileptic arpeggios, and the 808 jammed program of Issa, while the title track Mondayz and its dub dipped stabs of pleasure with conga percussion is the type of electro that moves the mind and physical in addictive mysterious ways. 

Side B takes a detour to the peaks of Deep courtesy of the driving deep techno house style, charming chirps, and oceanic vibes of Dweet. In addition we have included a stripped back yet magnetically atmospheric and percussive perked remix delicacy from Command D. (@animalia-label).

An excursion into the lesser-known territories of the Asian musical landscape, 'Ragom (Various Artists)' is the latest release from Bangkok’s enigmatic @siamesetwinsrecords. Ahead of its release, the premiere spotlight falls on Kiss Nuka’s 'Taabiir', a word that translates to “deeper interpretation (of dreams)” in Urdu. 

True to its name, the track channels Kiss Nuka's mystical insight and raw emotion through a hypnotic variation of vocal percussion, reminiscent of konakkol, the rhythmic vocal tradition of Carnatic music. Fractured beats move in procession while ghostly tones dance around them, never fully landing. Kiss Nuka constructs a sonic ecology where boundaries dissolve between inner and outer, past and present. Taabiir doesn’t demand attention; it quietly draws you in.
