Timesaver is Xen Model’s third full length album and second release on the Causal Chain imprint. The 9-track LP stays true to the duo’s eccentric sound while delving into the introspective side of their productions. Club-focused head nodders “Pin Cycle”, “Face Forward”, and “Controller” accompany key tracks like “Arm’s Edge Reach” and “Grip Dial”, which channel the duo’s affinity for ambient music. “A Bright Star” spotlights a catchy guitar hook and features close collaborator 11ai. Xen Model’s signature play on halftime structure is engaged in bass-heavy cuts “Ripstream” and “Local Group”. The album comes to a close with a radio edit of their previously released track “Lurch”, which clusters the duo’s myriad styles and influences in an encapsulating statement of the Xen Model sound.

C’est comme ça qu’on désigne le monde physique depuis un espace virtuel, quelque chose comme le nom de domaine de la réalité.
Je fais de la musique entre deux mondes, celui où je me promène en silence, que j’observe pour y trouver quelque chose à raconter, et celui où j’enregistre, où je duplique, où je coupe, où j’archive, où je sauvegarde, où je partage.
Je fais des chansons pour passer de l’un à l’autre, pour que tout tienne ensemble, le dedans et le dehors, les instants et les traces.

@Katnzingha is a trans, multidisciplinary experimental artist born and raised in Philadelphia. Their artistic practices explore abstruse textures through sonic and sculptural materials. 

Combining their sculptural works with heavy low-end frequencies and celebratory tones they create blissfully cryptic sonic resonances that are the extended bodies of the modified objects they fabricate. Kat Nzingha uses convulsing kicks, metallic percussion, and hyper-processed textures to design sound, and distinct repetitive techniques, industrial materials, and elongated forms in their sculptural works. 

After releasing an EP, "Angeltribe" on London @TT_label in 2020, and "Vorphic Skin" on @Toothgrinderpress in 2023, Kat Nzingha released the album "Grind" on @Angeltribe.XTL .Shorty after, they released “RIM” under the artist name “@BRYYA” on the label formfourm which consists of heavy focused sound design techniques.
