This month's mix comes from Barcelona-based, Mexican multi-media artist @syntaxerika.

Her work is a combination of visual art and sound. She runs the small label Ambient Lux and is currently working on a few installations that should be presented soon in Berlin and Monterrey. 

She prepared an interesting journey from ambient to deep into the techno realms of Paula Temple. Lots of favorites in there from Ilian Tape, Silent Season, Delsin and more.

In the tenth anniversary edition of the Sonogramma podcast dedicated to ambient and experimental music from @ssi-records, the curator of the podcast, Ilia @symphocat invites you to listen to a compilation made of compositions from the @abjective project. Behind it stands the media artist and multi-instrumentalist Vadim Pantin from St. Petersburg.

Abjective started in 2009 and was conceived as an IDM project, although over time the musician's interests have expanded from ambient to noise, from avant-garde to neoclassics. Vadim's music is based on completely different concepts and approaches to sound recording, which is clearly reflected in the sound of the published albums. Creativity, sensitivity, awe and lightness of being converge, but on the other hand, there is overcoming, hysteria, a broken spirit, destruction, confusion, the desire for rebirth. According to the author, the music in the project is like a conversation about eternity.

The tenth Sonogramma podcast includes ten tracks by Abjective from the "Cyclone" album series released on the Unline label, as well as from the albums “Prismatic Pyramid” and “Pure Coding At Search Paradise More Nothing” released on Simphonic Silence Inside.

Syntax Erika works with electronic sound patterns, layering field recordings and synthetic noise into immersive sonic strata. Her practice fuses dark ambient, industrial drones, art-techno, noise, and experimental synthesis, creating soundscapes that mixed between natural sounds and synthetic noises.
