this one of the first songs i created by myself after a break-up in 2016. music was the only thing i knew how to pour my emotions into at the time & this was the result. i would’ve dropped it that year, but i was stuck in a mindset where i was always waiting for the perfect time & focused too heavily on trying to do things the “right” way. this song has lived on a hard-drive, the email￼￼ accounts of a few close friends, and in my head for the past 5 years. hope it resonates with/heals you as much as it did for me when i was going through a tough time and all i wanted to do was disappear.
