Gotland Ouverture - Op 10 No 4

This ouverture tells the story of an adventure that is about to begin. An adventure on the Swedish island of Gotland, and a new part of life that begins with it.

It was written between approx. May 25th to June 27th 2015, and was a way for me to personally say goodbye to the past and welcome the future!

Gotland Ouverture is written for symphony orchestra, with the addition of electronic elements to further realize the music I envisioned back in May '15.

It was produced in Cubase 7.5 with the Orchestral Essentials library created by Project SAM (if you are like me, OE is a good symphonic VST library to start off with, and I can definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to start writing film/symphonic music. No, I'm not sponsored. Yet. Just speaking my mind).

Gotland Ouverture was mastered by Gunnar Kylén (https://soundcloud.com/gunwalds), and I am very grateful for his work to make the ouverture sound as good as possible.

The original soundtrack for the game Tumble Runners.

The game was produced as a final project at Uppsala Universitet, campus Gotland, in spring 2016. It was displayed at the annual Gotland game conference, GGC, during 22-23rd of may.

The production team consisted of Kevin Alonso, Simon Ströberg, Håkan Johannsson, Johannes Bengtsson, Bengt Hagnelius and Erik Jigvall. A shoutout and thanks to all you guys for letting me score the game!

The VST library used was Orchestral Essentials by Project SAM.

Run Before You Can Walk - Op 23 No 1

So, I will try to start writing a piece of music, complete with mixing and mastering, every other week. What have I gotten myself into? I don't even know mixing and mastering?? Against all odds, this piece actually turned out better than I thought it would!

Broken Reality (Weekly Challenge 2)

Hi there!

I am Henrik M Järleblad, a 29 year-old Swedish composer, especially interested in trying to mix the orchestral sound with the electronic.

I mostly enjoy a grand symphonic sound, combined with electronic elements that really enhance the music in a way acoustic elements cannot.

I used to work in Cubase 7.5, with the Orchestral Essentials
VST library by ProjectSAM as my main go-to library. That will soon change. 

But I'll be moving over to Reaper pretty soon...
