Yes I´m an old dude, that´s why they call me grandpa hehe. Sometimes you take a vibe from the past. It´s the lugage you have as a person or in my case as a producer. I wanted that early rave, big venues vibe, so I made it like that (with eq sweeps on the melody and massive reverb). It´s hypnotic & may sound for some a bit boring, but for others it will get them in that particular state hehe. So some will love it and mark it as their favorite, others will fall asleep xD. Played  it out loud and the kick is pounding like mf.
