This was a sampling assignment for my electronic music class. All sounds except my voice were made by manipulating samples I got by hitting/sliding a small metal box in my room  ☐

A vocalist, Samita Sinha, came into our music class for a recording session, and we left with a bunch of great recordings of her voice to use in the next assignment. I wanted to do something with drastic tempo changes, so this is what I came up with.

This is another music assignment. From the drums to the leads, I made all the sounds in the song by tweaking presets or from scratch on this free synth: Tyrell N6 by u-he.

Tyrell N6 Project

For our last regular assignment in music class, we recorded SŌ Percussion drummer, Jason Treuting, and were told to do whatever with the drums once we mixed them. I came across some barbershop quartet stuff a couple days ago, and decided to make something with that. All the sounds besides the drums are from barbershop songs I found online and sampled, pitched shifted, reversed, etc.
