Cimbaal

Ensemble Móbile is a Brazilian musical group dedicated to the performance of Contemporary Music with repertoire on instrumental, and electroacoustic music. The ensemble was created by research group Núcleo Música Nova and had its first appearance in 2014. Since its foundation, the Ensemble Móbile focuses on the 20th and 21st centuries new music repertoire as well as on encouraging new works by young composers. In this sense, it values the direct exchange between performers and composers, as well as in educational strategies through reading sessions.

Leah Reid – Crumbs

Sk(etch) is an acousmatic work that explores sounds, gestures, textures, and timbres associated with the creative process of sketching, drawing, writing, and composing. 
The work was composed with two projects in mind: working with EMPAC’s wave field synthesis array and for Núcleo Música Nova’s «microFOLIA» project.

The work won First Prize in the Tesselat Electronic Music Competition and an Honorary Mention in the WOCMAT NCTU International Phil Winsor Computer Music Competition.

Sk(etch) is featured on RMN Classical's Electroacoustic & Beyond vol. 4, MUSLAB’s Planeta Complejo, SEAMUS’ CD vol. 29, and Núcleo Música Nova’s microFOLIA CDs.

I Start Breathing!

This music is composed for and performed on Netherbox and Apollotron, two percussion instruments built by me, Erich Netherton, originally for sound design and due to their musicality became my musical focus.

Conscious Breath was created for Make Music in Space, dublab's initiative for artists to create immersive quadraphonic sounds. 

This recording is  QUARK encoded to play in both stereo and Regular Matrix quadraphonic sound. QUARK is made possible by dublab and the National Endowment for the Arts
