Industry heavyweights @moerbeck, @matrixxman, @jeroensearch, @anthonylinell and @pan-pot themselves share their interpretations of @wigbert's work on ‘Distorted Matter Remixes'.

Starting off strong is Mørbeck’s version of ‘Reflection’, with a charging kick drum and heavy acid line powering the momentum. Furious cymbals and a high pitched synth line push the tempo. Up next is Matrixxman’s Labyrinth remix of ‘Automatic Loop’, a dubbed out bass heavy edit where a galloping kick drum pushes along with determination. Last on the A-side are Pan-Pot with their edit of ‘Xcelerator’. Surrounded by a thumping kick drum and shooting snares, a distorted vocal reverberates its way throughout uttering the name of the track.

On the flip side Jeroen Search delivers his version of ‘Focus’: a percussive workout with an array of different drums working simultaneously together. Mischievous synth lines are balanced by uplifting organ chords. Last up is Anthony Linell's Sunday Adventure Club (S.A.C.) remix of ‘Reflection’. This slower paced track marches along to a pounding kick drum and rattling hi-hats. An ever present bass line brings weight and texture to an already heaving track.

Based in Washington, DC, USA, TonalTheory is a self-taught duo producer/DJ who brings their modern take on the fusion of powerful, high-energy techno soundscapes and percussions.

Lending an homage to their classical backgrounds, their versatility
and vision captivate audiences of all genres of music. With numerous local and international releases, the duo launched their own label, Undertone, in 2021. 

Undertone embodies their signature high-energy techno sound while bending genre boundaries and hopes to serve as a platform for like-minded producers to showcase their artistry. Recent releases from
Undertone have generated support from multiple industry-leading producers.

Their time in the studio producing cutting-edge and forward-thinking Techno has earned them a place in some of the industry’s notable labels/catalogs, including 'What Were You Thinking?' EP on Divine Intervention Records, 'Confidential Movement' EP on Say What?, 'Avoid The Light' EP on SINDEX, 'Obscure Horizon' EP on Ōtomo, and many other single releases on labels such as SUBSTANTIV, T Sessions, GRF Black, Rated Records, and many more.

Their work has also been recognized and featured by Washington Post, EDM Identity, and XTINA, which added to their success as producers on the rise.

Performing everywhere from warehouse raves to clubs and festivals, their DJ sets are signified by relentless hard-hitting Techno that simultaneously takes their listeners on a cathartic journey. Their sound has left lasting and impactful impressions in every city they have played.

As residents of Washington DC’s leading Techno and Trance project team, Synthesis, and co-founder of Decibel Collective, they have played support for some of the biggest names in the industry of both Techno and Trance alike, including Caravel, Julia Govor, Sara Landry, ØTTA, Daria Kolosova, Felicie, Charlotte de Witte, Stella Bossi, Dubfire, Indira Paganotto, Tapefeed, John Askew, Greg Downey, David Rust, Christopher Lawrence, Alan Fitzpatrick, Nicole Moudaber, Green Velvet, Laidback Luke, Sharam, and Victor Calderone, which has solidified their presence in the scene as artists to look out for.

Originally from Lublin, Poland where she took her first steps behind the decks in late 2021, she is currently based in Warsaw.

In her selection she aims to avoid boredom, and does not stick to just one genre. Most often she turns to strong, energetic Techno full of acid sounds and ear-catching melodies. She feels best at 145-160 BPM.
