Russian producer Stas Sharifullin, also known as HMOT, presents his debut motion picture soundtrack for "Another Name". The film, directed by Moscow New Cinema School alumni Veta Geraskina and produced by & starring Svetlana Khodchenkova, is a psychological, mystery thriller premiering in early February 2022. HMOT's soundtrack mirrors the suspense and tension of the story through (re)synthesised, hard-to-place sounds: ice-cold synthesizers, razor sharp sound design, uncanny atmospheres and mystic vocals (Anastasia Tolchneva aka Lovozero) combine to chilling effect.

Released via new @klammklang sub-series Club Nevermore Editions.

Krasnoyarsk is Russia's most polluted city with population over one million citizen. Air pollution is considered to be increased when the amount of API (air pollution index) is in the range from 5 to 6. Today in Krasnoyarsk the index is almost five times higher — 26,8. 

On January 1, 2016 Krasnoyarsk entered the so-called 'Black Sky Mode'. The adverse weather conditions do not contribute to the dispersion of harmful impurities in the air. Officials have failed to explain the sources of pollution.

It might be thought the distinction drawn between home and house music is aberrant and indicates nothing more than a clumsy translation. Inevitably, both are using the very similar constituent parts, and what is more important — both are embedded in complex social practices, some of which are narrowly musical and others more widely cultural, from which they cannot easily be abstracted. However, instead of something distinguished from something else, imagine something which distinguishes itself — and yet that from which it distinguishes itself does not distinguish itself from it. The author doesn’t ask listeners to reveal it, but would suppose a case where one will use these three pieces as a starting point for home music phenomena appreciation.
