É com enorme prazer que lançamos a Rádio Exótica, série de mixes onde convidaremos amigos e seletores que admiramos. E para dar o ponta pé inicial, um querido amigo da hOmeTown, Pascal aka Temise. 

Nascido e criado em Eindhoven, Temise começou um coletivo chamado "Vulgair" há pouco mais de 10 anos. Vulgair era conhecido por suas festas um pouco fora da lei em armazéns abandonados e áreas arborizadas de difícil acesso. Ao fazer isso, criaram um terreno fértil para criativos produtores locais, enquanto impulsionavam discretamente sua própria carreira de DJ nos bastidores. Ele decidiu deixar tudo isso para se tornar um enólogo em Bordeaux. Tocar em clubes como o iBoat com um copo de vinho na mão logo se tornou um sonho realizado. No entanto, os sons ecléticos tropicais e funk dentro da cena musical holandesa o trouxeram de volta a Maastricht e Amsterdam, onde ele reside hoje. Seu gosto por vinhos reflete suas escolhas musicais, que vão desde o Zouk frutado até os sons marcantes do Highlife e o caloroso Disco terroso, e todos os taninos intermediários.

With big pleasure we comeback to the airwaves with the Rádio Exótica, a mix series focused on friends and diggers that we admire. And for the number 1, a good friend from the lowlands, Pascal aka Temise.

Born and raised in the city of light, Eindhoven. He started a collective named “Vulgair” a little over 10 years ago. Vulgair was known for their slightly non-legal parties in abandoned warehouses and hard to find woody areas. By doing so, they creating a breeding ground for local creatives while simultaneously boosting his own DJ career in the background. He decided to leave it all by becoming a vinologist in Bordeaux. Playing clubs like iBoat with a glass of wine in his hand has shortly been a dream come true. But in the end the eclectic tropical and funky sounds within the Dutch music scene drew him back to Maastricht and Amsterdam where he resides today. His taste for wine reflects his musical choices ranging from fruity Zouk to the stingy sounds of Highlife and warm earthy Disco and every tannin in between.

We're very happy to welcome over our friend, Sunni D. 

Sunni has been making waves in the London club scene, lighting up dance-floors at iconic London venues such as Fabric, Jazz Cafe and The Cause, as well as supporting some of the finest selectors in the scene, including Millie McKee, Dar Disku, and Mafalda. 

Alongside musical partners Josh, Omar and Matt, Sunni co-founded Discothèque Tropicale, an exciting collective dedicated to celebrating borderless dance music and creative cultures from all over the world. Together with throwing vibrant parties at Cafe1001 and Night Tales, and playing renowned festivals such as Ion Festival and El Dorado, they are a licensed reissue label, with their first project set to highlight the sounds of Guadeloupe and the Southern French Antilles.

Seoul based record collector, DJ and Edit maker of various genres from around the world. His 8,90s based Balearic, Downtempo, RNB, House vibes mixes have been played over the years on Radio TNP(NL), Operator Radio(NL), Amok Radio(LU), Rocket Radio(IT), EHFM(UK), Pinata Radio(FR), Radio 80000(GE) and Bangkok Community Radio(TH), etc…
Released under his alter-ego, TUCAN DISCOS, the edit series made his name known to DJs, musicians and the music lovers all around world(his edits has been played from Moxie, Paula Tape, Kamma & Masalo, Ivan Smagghe, Bradley Zero, Heels & Souls and many more…), Also a compilation album containing his edit tracks was released from the beginning of Brazilian label <Bongosynth> in September 2022, <Les Yeux Orange>,  <Stereo Ferment> and many more. Based on this move, he played at Radio TNP’s event during ADE in 2022, and was invited as a main guest from <Hotel 727> of Almaty, <Bad Time Disco> of Hong Kong, <Soma Summer> of Moscow, <Toytonics Jam> of Berlin and <Wonderfruit> of Bangkok.

Our next guest is a great friend and absolute TOP DJ/digger and producer, Maï-Linh.

Over the past decade, she has quietly evolved into a standout artist, balancing raw passion with refined artistry, underscored by her residencies at Macadam and NTS Radio. Her sound bridges euphoric rave-progressive-euro-house with introspective influences like trip-hop, IDM, post-punk, and downtempo, reflecting the complexity and nuance of her identity.

A devoted digger and champion of imperfection, Maï-Linh finds magic in the overlooked treasures of the 80s-90s/early 2000, dedicating countless hours on Discogs to uncover timeless tracks that defy trends. This meticulous curiosity shapes a sound that is both daring and nostalgic, radiant yet contemplative.
Her love of discovery extends beyond herself. Through CTW Podcasts—a project she founded over a decade ago—she amplifies voices from across the globe, bringing headliners and hidden gems together. "From sunlit downtempo to shadowy club sounds, it’s all about building bridges without borders or pretension," she explains.

Carlim, exploradora sonora e temporal. Se dedica ao nomadismo espacial e transita sua pesquisa e produção entre o house e disco com elementos de jazz, acid e balearic. Faz parte de uma nova leva de minas DJ’s residentes em São Paulo que busca quebrar barreiras visíveis e invisíveis na cena eletrônica. Seu set é um paradoxal convite magnético entre o oculto hedonista e a euforia coletiva.

Nessa mix, Carlim viajou pelas terras distantes do Ítalo com uma passadinha pela disco town para animar a sua quarentena.

Slow Fire Disco Machine (@slowfirediscomachine) é o nome dado por trás do projeto criado por Andrea Carassai e Giacomo Fiorani. A amizade de longa data começou com o Polyphonic, depois migrou para algo diferente e assim surgiu o Slow Fire Disco Machine, um duo sem restrições de gênero, explorando os sons do mundo. Quando não estão discotecando, são responsáveis pelo canal do youtube com o mesmo nome, onde estão sempre compartilhando suas descobertas e alguns edits, e também são os anfitriões do “Espresso” show, dentro da conhecida Rocket Radio.

"Nesta mix, o objetivo foi colocar em um mesmo set uma mix especial, feita inteiramente de tracks de produtores e artistas italianos. Dentro dele você vai viajar por várias tracks fresquinhas de labels italianas e também vai passar pela vasta historia musical do pais, desde de downtempo confortante até as bombas dançantes do Italo House. 
Nossa intenção era levar ao público brasileiro algo diferente e ao mesmo tempo exótico aos seus ouvidos, e, ao mesmo tempo, fugir dos clichês. 
Um dos fatos mais interessantes ao fazer essa mix, é que incluímos musicas de todas as áreas da Itália e queremos que vocês descubram e deem apoio as pessoas por trás delas. Optamos pelas músicas italianas porque ao mesmo tempo que foi muito desafiador fazer, foi muito divertido e adoramos gravar.

Slow Fire Disco Machine is the alias behind Andrea Carassai and Giacomo Fiorani. Their friendship behind the decks started as Polyphonic, then became quickly something different giving birth to Slow Fire Disco Machine, an entity exploring sounds from the world with no restriction of genre, with eyes (and ears) to groove and good vibes.
When they're not digging or djing, SFDM runs a YouTube Channel where they upload their finds and their edits and they also host the "Espresso" show on Rocket Radio.

“For this chapter we wanted to put together a special mix made entirely by tracks from Italian artists and Italian labels. 
Inside you’ll find a lot of fresh releases and something from the past going from downtempo chilling stuff to italo house bangers.
Our purpose was to give Brazilian audience something different and somehow “exotic” to their ears,  and, in the meantime , avoiding cliches as much as possible.
Funny fact is also that this mix includes artists from all areas of Italy and we encourage you to discover and support their music if you like it!
we found this choice both challenging and funny and we enjoyed a lot recording it , hope you will enjoy our trip too!

When suit up was regular and smoke inside was cool, Agrabah (@gatha-prado) nos leva aos anos 70 com uma incrível viagem pela riqueza musical da época.
House, Funk, Disco, Breaks e Acid são alguns dos ingredientes que Agrabah, utiliza em suas misturas sonoras.  Dj, pesquisadora e produtora, Ágatha Prado o nome por trás do projeto, trabalha com a combinação de elementos sintéticos e orgânicos de categoria atemporal, que marcam suas composições e sets com quebras de linearidade e grooves expansivos. Em seu último lançamento pelo label australiano Clipp.Art, Agrabah explorou as fronteiras dos Breaks e House oitentista, no EP intitulado "Break Beach" com duas faixas que receberam suporte de artistas como The Black Madonna, Moskalus e Quincy Jointz. Com podcasts lançados em labels como SXDNS, Alataj, Connect, articula combinações flúidas e versáteis com uma apurada pesquisa musical que compreende ritmos de diversas regiões do mundo.

Discotecando há quase 10 anos, Wiss faz parte do @turbilhaosom e nos mostra alguns discos que adicionou a coleção em 2020, gravando esse mix com alguns clássicos fluindo de Beastie Boys, UB40 até Manu Dibango.

Nosso convidado da vez é o DJ e produtor britânico Delonte Rivers (@delonteriversmusic). Como produtor conta com produções lançadas por gravadoras renomadas como XVI Records e Banana Hill, como seletor e DJ é o fundador do selo Everybody Loves to Boogie, o coletivo focado em músicas dos 4 cantos do planeta e suas mais diversas formas. Como contraste, em suas produções Delonte foca no lado mais profundo da música eletrônica, fundindo elementos do afro e da música latina, com reggae, dub e left field disco. Nessa mix percebemos a viagem pelo downtempo e suas vertentes, perfeito para se ouvir em casa. 

Delonte Rivers is a DJ and producer from North West London and has released music on XVI Records and Banana Hill, new music’s also on the way very soon. Alongside this, Delonte is the founder of Everybody Loves to Boogie, a collective and party that focuses on feel good music from all over the world, in all its various forms. In contrast, for his own productions, Delonte focuses more on the deeper side of electronic music, while still fusing elements of afro and latin percussion, reggae, dub and left field disco. For the mix, he has leaned towards these sound, rolling through downtempo moves that work both for home listening and on the dance floor.

Xela (@xela-music) é o projeto do seletor norte americano Alex Coppola, natural de Oakland, California e agora baseado na Philadelphia. DJ, seletor e ativista musical, vem colaborando em diversos projetos como no canal musical norte americano Late Feelings, e também sendo o curador da Island Time Radio (@islandtimeradio). Em seus sets conecta as mais diversas vertentes da musica underground africana, caribenha, latina e dos mais diversos cantos do mundo.

Xela is Alex Coppola, formerly out of Oakland, California and now based in Philadelphia, US. DJ, digger and music archivist; his recent projects include frequent collaborations with music blog Late Feelings, as well as his own radio show called Island Time Radio. His sets are wide ranging and eclectic, creating connections and sharing the multitude of underground music from Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Cofundador da festa Different Rhythm, Pablo Santos tem se apresentado em grandes festas e festivais da cena Irlandesa nos últimos anos como Telephones, Electric Picnic, Body & Soul, YAAM (Berlin) e conta com mixes para o Na Manteiga e Caracol. Pablo, como produtor, possui edits lançados pelo selo irlandês Orange Tree Edits e um show mensal na Dublin Digital Radio, nesse mix temos uma viagem por discos adquiridos em sua última visita ao Brasil, além de edits e muitas chuggers.
