Rita Bass is a producer, DJ and music journalist from Naarm/ Melbourne, Australia. Her musical output meets at the unlikely intersections of post-punk, cyper-pop and emotional drum and bass music. Underpinning both her production and DJ mixes, is a strong conceptual focus as well as more recent explorations in universal sentiment of isolation, musings of depression and shortcomings of habitual existence explored within spoken word and vocals injected into her DJ mixes.

Sites of our collective imagination, their rhythms of destruction are understood as terminal symptoms of the technological age; as a metallic rite of passages - vehicles of liminal liberation & sexual rebirth; or for the laymen amongst us - a tasty insurance claim $$. Whatever ur two cents, the car crash seems to be our unequivocal condition.

The cult of the car crash is well and truly alive - in eerie lay-bys, empty-car parks and busy intersections - they bring us together at high velocity. Together with the original B, Vani-T, this is a collection of tracks 2 brace for the high-impact - sexy, sincere and seminal.
