Samantha Loveridge Returns to Get Physical with Uplifting Afro House Single ‘Ogede’ feat. AYONGE

After a string of standout releases across labels like Innervisions, When Stars Align, and Monaberry, Samantha Loveridge is back on Get Physical Music with a vibrant new track titled ‘Ogede’, featuring rising Nigerian vocalist AYONGE. This marks the first collaboration between the two artists and delivers a joyful, percussive slice of Afro House with a distinct melodic flair.

‘Ogede’ is a song full of warmth and movement. Rich in rhythm and layered with glowing synth work, the track is driven by AYONGE’s soulful vocals, which are delivered in Yoruba and English. Serve Cold, Grigoré and Jaguar Jaguar return to Defected with ‘LOW’, following the success of breakout label debut ‘Dancing’ in June 2025. Frequent collaborators Serve Cold and Grigoré first made music in 2024, inspired by the electronic soundscapes and neo-soul of artists like Jungle and Khruangbin. Together with Belgian band Jaguar Jaguar they debuted their fresh house record ‘Dancing’ on Defected Records in June 2025. The track was a breakout success, earning two million streams and two-thousand radio spins in under two months thanks to early support from the likes of Keinemusik, RÜFÜS DU SOL and Tripolism - the track also topped the Beatport Afro House chart for nearly two weeks after release. Now they build on their dreamlike dance sound with ‘LOW’, an acronym of “Love is the Only Way”. A perfect example of something that is delicious because it is sweet, bitter and sour at the same time is today’s fantastic cocktail by Fejká. His smooth creation for Schirmchendrink is a very desirable sip, and the light sugary melodies but sour and sometimes bitterish melancholy is a flavor that is absolutely lovable!

Based in Stuttgart, Brian Zajak, aka Fejká, began his musical career at the age of 17. Torn between the atmospheric vibe and the calm of ambient music, as well as the state of absolute ecstasy that provokes the powerful beat of techno, Fejká couldn’t decide which direction his music production would take. Thus, he decided to experiment with both.

Drawn to artists such as Christian Löffler, HVOB and Kiasmos, the appeal of his style lies in its varied influences, and ability to harness the best of two contrasting genres. It was Christian Löffler himself who approached him, leading to his Debut EP "Twilight" which was released 2017 on Löffler’s Label Ki Records. 

His highly anticipated Debut Album "Reunion" has just been released, also on Ki Records. It is a hugely expansive record that frequently shifts gears between driving rhythms and endless soundscape. Fejká developed a sound with a rich sense of song-craft & melody alongside his ambient deep-house foundations, and we’re happy to hear one of his album tracks in this mix.
