Romania’s Bross drops a Bandcamp exclusive in the shape of the deeply melodic and reflective house cut No More Games. Bross is one of the most vital electronic artists from the vibrant Romanian music scene. Scoring Beatport No.1’s with La Caminita on All Day I Dream and Trubadour on Amunanga, he established himself with deep, organic, melodic releases, before switching his sound up to become more house-focussed at the start of 2022. Co-founder of the Deep House Burcharest community and an in-demand touring DJ, Bross lives and breathes house music like few others.
No More Games see Bross is reflective mood as he continues to explore the deeper shades of house music. Released exclusivity on Bandcamp, No More Games is patient and deeply atmospheric, with delicate melodies intertwined with choral layers, hushed drums and spacious synth lines, resulting in an affecting and poignant early-hours cut. 2022 and beyond sees Bross looking to establish his own digital and vinyl label Troubadour, and to further cement the new development of his housier sound with his upcoming releases.

Label manager of Belgian label DHB, Nico P is shedding his skin to create his new moniker, Aytiwan. Nico P, who usually produces melodic house music, created Aytiwan to dedicate his production solely to afro house sounds. The project has allowed him to express his emotions in a different style, collaborating with singer Nes Mburu to release upcoming EP 'Ilanga.' The 4 track EP sees remixes from label friends Enoo Napu and Klaudius.

Released on Nico P's new label Deep In Your Soul, the original track 'Ilanga' was inspired by love and positive energy. Produced by Aytiwan and performed by upcoming artist Nes Mburu, "nikupende, pende pende" is the melodic hook throughout the track, translating to "I love you, love you." The track begins with a steady rhythm, the heartbeat of the song, which is dark and brooding. Mburu's soulful voice cuts through, submerged in distortion and delay. Afro-house percussion lifts the atmospheric presence, building a dynamic and colorful soundscape. The track which sits at 7 minutes 30 seconds, never drops in energy levels, and the melodic repetition is hypnotic and spellbinding.

For the 'Ilanga' EP, Aytiwan collaborated with South African artist Enoo Napa, who produced two remixes for the EP. The first remix plays around with thudding bass lines and stomping beats. Electronic synthesizers weave in and out of each other, layered with Mburu's vocal hook. Piano chords add a bright warmth, especially during the drop before it plunges back into an intensely entrancing finale. Enoo Napa's alternative remix, experiments with new percussion and rhythms that give the song a different feel. A synth bass line is a standout feature, while the piano makes a return adding lightness to the mood. The atmospheric energy of Aytiwan's original track is still at the soul of the music.

Belgian producer Klaudius crafts a third remix, taking a different approach by using the piano as the foundation of the track, panned with gentle percussion, while Mburu fades from the distance into the forefront. Without the steady beat of the kick drum, the song feels mellow and contemplative, until it eventually kicks in bringing the song back to its origins. The hypnotic quality remains throughout, ebbing and flowing with ease, a melodic and laid-back arrangement that shows the song in a different light.

Each version of 'Ilanga' is a personal journey that reflects the original song in powerful ways, capturing different moods for listeners to experience, showing the versatility of Aytiwan's original production and creativity.

After two hotly-anticipated releases, Aiwaska is back on Bar 25 Music with the new record ¨Harmony¨, made in collaboration with duo Abandon. His production expertise has seen him deliver releases for such esteemed dance music imprints as Exploited, Crosstown Rebels, and House Music With Love. It’s also bought him to collaborate with a whole host of legendary vocalists, such as Robert Owens, Roland Clark, Egyptian Lover, and Aquarius Heaven.

No wonder, Aiwaska has a global fanbase and has performed at many established venues such as Burning Man Festival and Odessey. He has also recently started his own monthly radio show with the reputable Ibiza Sonica Radio. His work has been highly praised by both Mixmag & DJ Mag over the past year or so, and a promising future lies in store for him, no doubt.

Abandon was born in 2019, the same year their very first EP “Queen & Priest“came to light on the label Dantze from the label boss NICONÉ. Minoas Cirillo and Timothée Toussaint share the same taste and vision for electronic music, so it was obvious for them to create this project in the beginning. Just like this collaboration with Aiwaska that came across naturally. As a result, we have a six pieces EP — two tracks, “Harmony” and “Afterlife”, three versions of each called Day Mix, Night Mix Sundown. Together, they collect every mood you can think of while listening to a good Melodic House record.

Melodic bomb 'Surge' features chuggy synths and cowbell rhythms while rich, saturated melodies and a mysterious vocal permeate throughout. Nuran masterfully incorporates elements of anticipation and suspense with a deeply emotive breakdown and thrilling buildups, expertly laying the foundations for label founder Sarkis Mikael and Dear Humans' signature reinterpretation of the track.
NCTRNL is a Los Angeles-based label exploring subterranean house, downtempo and melodic techno. They now recruit Miami artist Nuran for the 18th release on the imprint, whose productions have seen previous support from the likes of Adriatique, Oliver Koletzki, Township Rebellion, Eelke Kleijn, Joseph Capriati and many more.

December has gained golden colors thanks to ‘My Soul', released on Art Vibes. A magnificent EP of three impressive tracks making us travel and dance introspectively in a very special way.
Courtesy of Ukrainian producer Jean Vayat and American singer / producer Evelynka, ‘My Soul' takes us into a sphere of dance and reflection through powerful synthesizers and progressive beats. The beats go hand in hand with Evelynka's spatial vocals, guiding us to a place where calm turns into euphoria.

Spanish producer Yamil joins Art Vibes with his own take on ‘My Soul' where the minimalist kick and percussions give the track another personality. Keeping the narrative characteristics of the original piece, this remix ends up landing on a foamy drop, with glass bubbles and uplifting chime landscapes spinning around our ears. Try it for yourself!

Closing off the EP, Artaria's remix of ‘My Soul' is an explosion of intricate sound synthesis, restless percussion, reverberation and electric shocks that are impossible not to dance to. All this precedes an unexpected drop, uniting the rhythmic aesthetics of eighties techno with the energy of trance and its distinctive synthesizers.

This release is one more example of the diversity Art Vibes is aiming for when producing music. The three tracks stem from the same place but feature completely different aesthetics.
