-102C label manager The Cobb presents the final installment of his 'Elements' series with the fourth offering 'Zemlya'. Beginning in September with the excellent 'Veter', the 'Elements' series is a four release anthology whereby the The Cobb creates a track to represent one of the four elements alongside a remix from Dmitry Molosh. Receiving predictably great responses, the release of 'Voda' and 'Ogon' notched the series' second and third installments in November, and now 'Zemlya' arrives to cap the series off in fine style.

David Orin has been a key figure in New York’s surging deep and melodic scene for years, and is also one of the nicest gents on the circuit. We couldn’t be happier to have him back on XYZ with his version of City Lights. Orin harnesses a revolving & bountiful bassline as the foundation, utilizing the original’s powerful synth stabs to elevate energy in pristine fashion.

Sri Lankan producer Noiyse Project takes 'Reveal' on a driving progressive journey, while fellow Melbourne producers McKeown and Bassiray push their version of 'Killing Time' to a serious depth, in a dark and moody breaks version for the next release on Late Night Music.

Premiere: Mike Rish - Reveal (Noiyse Project Remix) [Late Night Music]

'A legendary figure within the underground dance scene, Savvas has been involved in electronic music for three decades. A veteran of the DJ circuit and a production career dating back to a 2011 debut, the Greek artist has been a familiar sight on the likes of Anjunadeep, The Purr and 3rd Avenue. A trio of remixes for Proton Music have seen reworkings of Erdi Irmak, Rick Pier O'Neil and GMJ as Savvas now releases his debut EP on the label with "Reminisce".

A sonic triumph with a beautiful melodic narrative, the title track lilts enticingly along its 9-minute journey with a delicately flowing lead line. Beautiful piano phrases add to the sonic tapestry as breathy vocal and complementary motifs create a stunning work. A rolling rhythmic groove and deep kick provide the backdrop for "Momentum" to continue the rich melodic atmosphere as free-flowing lines and subtly plucked guitar themes resonate gently. Through a beautiful combination of counterpoint phrasing the track oozes class and craftsmanship. Characterised by a glorious broken beat rhythm, "Reflections" harkens back to a bygone era of progressive breaks as sublime melodies flow, juxtaposed to a chunky rolling cadence. Full of delicate touches that evolve and blossom over the 6-minute piece, the track hypnotises with a repetitive sonic beauty that culminates in a powerful woodwind sequence post breakdown.'
