Squire launches Anims, recruiting Ibiza mainstay Oriol Calvo and remixes from Kevin di Serna and Valentin Huedo for its debut release. Inspired by the energy of open-air parties on the White Isle, the first release on the freshly minted Anims imprint comes from previous resident of both Space Ibiza and Privilege, Oriol Calvo. An homage to long Balearic summers, ‘Love Loud’ features vocals from LMNL, the new project from Simon Batten, atop a driving and hypnotic production. Following appearances on Innervisions, Watergate, and All Day I Dream, Argentinian DJ/producer Kevin di Serna delivers an emotive remix, adding his deft touch to the original’s lyrical melodies, harmonies, and atmospherics. Rounding out the release, Ibiza’s Valentin Huedo turns in a deep and chugging remix, incorporating LMNL’s vocals into a rolling cut with sharp snares and pounding kick drums. Anims is a multi-faceted entertainment platform founded by ex-Formula 1 racer Jaime Alguersuari, now international DJ/producer Squire. It encompasses an event brand for interactive conferences and talks (virtual and physical), musical events, and an imprint for genre-free electronic music. illich Mujica is a Venezuelan born, New York City-bred DJ who plays uplifting melodic tunes blended with dark and mysterious beats. His magnetic presence and spellbinding universe were already displayed at Amaya Society in NYC as well as at Camp Festival 2022 ; also on his own productions and edits, including Portishead’s version of ABBA’s « SOS » , on which one can sense his very personal touch of enlightening darkness.

With his new E.P named « The Constant Impermanence », Illich Mujica shows that the right track can transcend the opposites, day and night, East and West, light and darkness ; that the appropriate combination of beats and vocals can unlock the doors of our hearts as well as the ones of the clubs. The E.P includes 2 originals tracks and 2
remixes.

In « The Constant Impermanence » the hypnotic rhythm and vocals are supported by empowering beats in order to board us on a flowing and uplifting journey of resurgence. Where to ? Two ways are already open with remixes by Landikhan who takes « The Constant Impermanence » on a deep yet joyful clubbing path while KARLÏ’s slow motion ethno remix allows to appreciate the original track’s multiple layers even more.

With his second original track called « Surya Rising », illich Mujica takes us on an introspective trip through space and time starting with meditative vocals by Tory Stolper coupled with outer-space communications that lead to powerful ascending beats : a perfect opening track , from Berlin to Burning Man’s legendary sunrise sets on the Playa, that asserts the artist’s musical signature as well as his committed spiritual quest.

trueColors is a deep and melodic record label that releases organic house with enchanting melodies and its new release features an original track by imprint favourite Inámo.

Alongside Inámo's original, the seven-track release also includes remixes by Super Flu, Vander and Sasha Carassi, plus three alternative versions produced by Inámo himself.

Deeply rooted in the nightlife of America's New York City as a local DJ, promoter and music director, Inámo is a producer whose output has been focused towards the esteemed record labels Earthly Delights and trueColors.

The release features the original mix of "La Llama" plus three alternative remixes all produced by Inámo to express a different mood, energy and atmosphere. It also features the vocals of Spanish singer Niña Indigo who dreamed up the lyrics while meditating.

Vander's remix stays true to the original keeping its main percussive loop and rhythmic synth stabs, but he restructures things to create an immersive indie dance groove that changes the vibe of the original.

Each of the versions have their own individual vibe and sits somewhere between organic house and melodic house/techno.
