Premiere: Uone - Just You & Me - Beat & Path Records

Jacob Groening's record label, Kamai Music, drops a new organic house EP from K2W0 which also features remixes by SAQIB, Lost Boy and Jacob Groening.

K2W0 is an emerging talent from London, UK who has been turning heads with exquisite releases on Magician On Duty, MONADA, KataHaifisch and Talpa Records. His style blends poignant melodies with trippy atmosphere and flowing percussion. He is a well-travelled DJ and producer whose music takes influence from the different cultures he has experienced.

"Aint No Sunshine" is a jazz-inspired track which fuses a sensual saxophone sample with soulful vocals washed in psychedelic effects. Built upon an acid bassline and framework of upbeat percussion, it's a forward-thinking piece of dance floor orientated music with timeless elements.

SAQIB is an American artist from Brooklyn who has a stripped-back and techy sound with immersive atmosphere. He has featured his downtempo style on labels ranging from Sabo's Sol Selectas to BLOND:ISH's Abracadabra Music.

SAQIB's indie dance remix of Aint No Sunshine adds a chunky new bassline and dramatic snare hits. Removing the saxophone, it focuses on the original's vocals and a sparkling new melody synth.

The synchronicity of life is explored in ‘Faith, Hope & Charity’, a delightful dancefloor number musing over the magic of the number three.

'For their fifth release on their own label Around Midnight, French duo Chambord entrusted both Fate and Friendship : this new “Fortune Teller” EP can be read like palm lines where 3 originals are craftily intertwined with 3 remixes.

Chambord’s long-term friendship with French DJ and producer Roze allowed them to develop a slightly different sound thread running through the whole EP : mystical beats support organic guitars and/or piano anthems which act as the main characters of the story. The remix of each track can be then heard as a sequel, with its own color and dramatic touch.

“Fortune Teller” sets the tone with its ascending and mesmerizing beats, while the guitar pinches drop like touches of sunlight on a peaceful sea of piano notes.

On Valentin Huedo’s version one can sense his Ibiza touch thanks to the addition of diffracted vocals and the strengthening of the baseline that turn the track into an essential club anthem.

“The Alchemist” puts the drums forward with a “bonfire” vibe that is heightened by tribe vocals. In contrast, the light electronic tunes bring a sense of togetherness : a sound formula that rises high into the night sky.

In Wahm’s lively remix, the psychedelic aspect of the track is enhanced with a thrilling combination of higher pitches and electric guitar, reminders of the roaring scene of Casablanca, Wahm’s native city.
“Merlin Diviner” embarks us on a soulful journey with its warm baseline mixed with solar guitar touches and ascending keyboards effects inspired by Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”. For his second collaboration with Chambord, Dandara throws a dark yet enchanting touch to the track by using deeper beats that make the guitar part shine even more, thereby tracing a stellar pathway to any club or festival.

With its mystic yet joyful musical storyline, no doubt that “Fortune Teller” will put a spell on your ears and your heart thanks to its enchanting diversity.'

'Baikal Nomads is a record label focused on organic house with deep atmosphere and melodic grooves. The label's latest release features collaborative original music from Cereus and Revibe along with stunning remixes by Veytik, Alex Doering and Timboletti.

There are two original tracks on this release that include the collaboration, plus a solo production by Cereus. Both of the original artists are from Denver, USA and Revibe is an emerging talent making his debut with this stunning release.

Cereus is making his debut on Baikal Nomads following an exquisite debut on the Suprematic record label where he showcased his downtempo blend of ethereal atmosphere and enchanting melodies.

On remix duty, Veytik is an American artist from New York whose mystical tracks have been released on respected organic house record labels ranging from Harabe to Cafe De Anatolia.

Alex Doering is a Baikal Nomads regular who provides a spine-tingling remix in the style that he has featured on other imprints such as Kosa, The Purr and trndmsk.

The last of the remixes comes from Timboletti, a renowned German artist who has been pioneering organic house since the genre's inception and has an impressive back catalogue including music on Sol Selectas, Kindisch, Do Not Sit, 3000 Grad Records and Stil Vor Talent.

"Kula" is the collaborative original and it opens the release with rattling organic percussion and majestic pads that create an uplifting atmosphere with a soothing vibe.

"Chandra" is the solo original by Cereus and it's a spellbinding track with sweeping synths and pulsating rhythms that are cut by rushes of sparkling melody and it unfolds with building tension.

Veytik's remix of "Kula" drops the tempo and adds vocal chants that give the track an indigenous vibe full of psychedelic and shamanistic vibes.

Timboletti's remix of "Kula" adds trippy synths with techy undertones that lead into the soothing synths of the original as the track moves towards the spiralling textures of the breakdown.

Alex Doering's remix of "Chandra" adds hallucinatory vocal textures and stabbing synth chords along with a prominent snare that helps him create a dramatic remix that lifts the energy of the original.'
