Sabo's record label, Sol Selectas embarks on its annual journey around the world with the 2023 edition of the imprint's Summer Sol compilation.

The eight edition collects organic tracks by artists that are from different parts of the world in a celebration of diversity and different cultures. Featuring music from Sol Selectas regulars such as Safar (FR), Hot Oasis, Sabo, Raidho and Guy Maayan, it also features music from numerous artists making their record label debut.

Although organic house is the genre the release orientates around, like the earth orbiting the sun, the release is filled with diversity, and includes genres ranging from Afro house to downtempo.

Fans of Sol Selectas know exactly what to expect from this highly revered compilation which gathers existing members of the record label's family and introduces them to the next generation of talent, as this release is often the gateway to future releases on Sabo's influential imprint.

Collectively, the artists who feature on this release have dropped individual tracks and remixes on other respected labels such as MoBlack Records, Pipe & Pochet, Sounds of Khemit, Bar 25 Music, 3000 Grad, Cafe De Anatolia and Akbal Music.

The release features music from countries such as Tunisia, Israel, Morocco, Poland, America and Iran. The artwork by Helia Jamali portrays the moment that we catch the light and the energetic rays of the sun activate our spirit through a divine connection.

HMWL Premiere: External Ratio - Silenced Patterns (Carlos Pulsar Remix)

Taking over for our next transmission, here comes Hamburg-via-Berlin special disco forces Nayan Soukie, alias Amount, and fellow A Tribe Called Kotori affiliate, Madmotormiquel (check out his 2022-released ripper 'Bombo' if you haven't). Responsible for a stream of choice outings on their own imprint, URSL, and noteworthy detours through our good friends Katermukke's dedicated platform and Gerd Janson's seminal disco house haven Running Back, the pair clocks in with their collaborative debut on the label, 'Holiday' - a straight out bouncy fruit born in confinement and painstakingly polished into the blazing trio of heaters it is today over the last few months.

All in curvy syncopations and flashy, neon-woven envelopes, 'Lifou' breaks the EP in with undeniable punch and chromatic vibrancy. Engineering a fine mix of brightly hued arps and earwormy bass set against a prog-friendly momentum, Amount and MMM let their implacable sense of the groove and intricate tune-making do the talk. Trading the roundness of the opener's bounce for a more angular take, 'Amedee' breathes in a Detroit-ish influence to its driving build-up as flocks of crisp hats, volatile snares and incendiary bass coalesce to eruptively smashing effect. True to its idyllic name, the final number 'Ouvea' takes us on a journey across cerulean skylines and endless strips of white sands. Infused with a healthy dose of balearic abstraction, slo-burning electronica tropes and full-blown disco vox lines, the track has us drifting in-limbo serene all-blue Edens and a steamy sweatbox. The ultimate Ibizean house / balearic funk weapon, just let the groove get in.

PREMIERE: DSF feat. Alexandra Savvidi — Enjoy Dear (Original Mix) [Telematique]

This creatively adventurous new release comes hot on the heels of his last, the ‘Body Rush EP’, which was a big hit on national radio. It was made Sarah Story’s Future Dance Track ID and Sam served up a Peak Time Mix for the taste-making host while Pete Tong and Danny Howard also supported it. It's the latest in a long line of success that have come on labels like Four Thirty Two, Mele's Club Bad and Knee Deep In Sound, all of which mix up disco, house and 90s tribal sounds. The steamy opener 'Alchemy' slowly builds the intensity with rising synth leads and percussive grooves that lift you off your feet. Wailing vocals arrive to add to the transcendental feel and a majestic breakdown features lush chord work and spine tinging keys that bring the emotion. The equally impactful 'Andalucia' is another multi-layered track with glistening synths and smart use of vocals to bring bubbling energy to the dance floor. The loopy drums keep you locked as the synths evolve and another dramatic breakdown is lit up by melodies full of meaning and emotional intensity before the groove kicks again. This is a bold and brilliant new EP from the vital Sam Holland.

Ari Fernan is a young talented producer / dj from Buenos Aires , Argentinia.

Luna de Margaritas is a track that represents a special moment for an equally special time. It carries with it the mark of a stage change in Ari's artistic development, as well as in his personal life. The inclusion of Afro-Latin sounds and percussion as an addition to his most devoted beginnings in the Argentine school of progressive house represented a fundamental parameter in his current composition devoted to organic house.

A new artist to 90watts as we welcome sub-Emerge on board. The New Delhi based producer already has quite a few releases under his belt, released under his alter ego Essayy, and has recently launched the sub-Emerge moniker as a home for his deeper, melodic and progressive house music. After the release of 'Melancholy of an Idle Mind' on Another Life Music, 'Transient Memories' is the second single under his new found name.

'Transient Memories' is a beautiful deep house track, rich with sounds and instruments and full of melancholic emotion. First up on remix duties it's Monojoke who cleverly used elements of the original and turns it into a groovin' organic house affair, whilst for the second remix we welcome Veytik back on board the label who gave the song an entirely different twist with his super exciting rework.

For Ego Bodaishin made an epic remix with a more upbeat groove and focusing on the beautiful vocal, very beautiful progression with strings and weaving in the kalimba melody as underlying repetitive sequence.

Furthermore you find a great radio edit of 'Bodaishin' on this EP and last but not least and epic track called 'Occitania' crafted by Bohem.
