We're thrilled to present Camel Riders Records new release titled 'Minayo' by the French-Moroccan-based producers Sound of Mint, incl. remixes by DIBIDABO, Yamagucci, Feller, Salmani, Carla Valenti. The Live electronic musicians and producers Sound Of Mint are serving us in their debut EP on Camel RIders, three colorful and mesmerizing originals: 'Sama Bena' and 'Minayo' featuring the exceptional Kora player from Senegal, Mbemba Diebate, in addition to the EP theme track 'Kolinga'. Sound Of Mint's originals navigate through the vast landscapes of West Africa, creating an impeccable fusion of traditional instruments and rhythms, epic vocals, and organic elements which are all coated with fine electronic melodies and beats, suited for a wide range of moods and settings. First, we have 'Sama Bena' and 'Minayo' which both display an uplifting and warm atmosphere, combining divine Kora sounds, hypnotizing vocals, and captivating melodies with fine electronic sounds. The third original by Sound Of Mint is 'Kolinga', the EP theme track which combines funky traditional melodies, Guitars, organic percussions, wooden sounds, synths, and intoxicating tribal vocal fragments, which create all together with a fresh World Music Bluesy tune. On remix duty, we have the pleasure to welcome the Russian producer DIBIDABO and the Tel Aviv-based producer Salmani, with their debut on Camel Riders. In addition, we are thrilled to have back on our label the Japanese-Israeli producer Yamagucci, Feller from Beit Oren, and Carla Valenti from Chile. This talented team of remixers, catapult the originals to the heart of the dance floor, with a wide range of thrilling electronic sounds which vary from Slow Tech to Organic & Deep House, infusing pounding melodies, acidic elements, and fresh profound beats. Sol Selectas is proud to present the 2nd album from DJ, producer, and label founder Sabo. The “Buddy System” is a collaborative effort spanning over 3 years of work. 

Sabo recalls taking field trips in elementary school as a child, and how all students were asked to find a buddy. Students held hands in pairs, while traveling from destination to destination, looking out for one another. The album mirrors this concept, with Sabo teaming up with various musician and producer buddies, while touring around the Globe. 

The history of each song is a travel diary of Sabo’s stamp filled passport, with musical ideas traveling back and forth across oceans and equators, in order to finalize the projects. One can hear the musical roots of Persia, India, Ancient Greece, Spain, and Jordan, with influence from time spent at his buddy’s studios in Mexico, Switzerland, Argentina, and Berlin. The different backgrounds, cultures, and styles combine to create something unique, and emphasizes the importance of working and creating together - as Buddies.

The artwork by Helia Jamali displays a dreamscape of a wolf pack circumnavigating the galactic Universe. Wolves survive best in packs, each buddy helping out the other. Sabo’s spirit animal is the wolf.

Swept away by @ziganaldi. The "Odin" EP brews with @souqrecordss’ traditional smoky desert flavours, evoked by Eastern instruments meeting electronica.
