Portuguese producer Trikk and Dutch producer Collé remix ‘Summer & Smoke’; one of the standout singles from Cubicolor's latest album 'Sometime Not Now'.

Trikk, who has previously released on Innervisions, Lossless and Music Optima, draws on his diverse musical influences from his two homes of Porto and Mozambique, as well as the musical melting pots of Berlin and London, to create a memorable remix characterised by an extremely catchy lead synth.

Dutch DJ and producer Randy Collé is no stranger to the electronic music scene, having received a great deal of support from acts such as Solomun, Âme and Black Coffee. His remix, which has already been supported by 8Kays in her Afterlife set in Tulum, is designed for the dancefloor and has some epic and emotional moments.

Cubicolor - Summer & Smoke (Collé Remix)

Seasoned Swiss producer, KHAINZ, fresh back from rocking the Half Moon festival in Thailand and announcing his forthcoming Tomorrowland solstice, peaks again with a debut release for Joris Voorn's Spectrum.

A brilliant brace is fronted by the title track 'The Drift'... 'When I synthesized the bass of The Drift I knew it could be something great!'
The coarseness of the synth adds a layer of dirt and imposing power, which together with the contrasting pureness of its melody works to create a powerful dancefloor moment.

The techno tandem is complete with 'Elevation,' a track that reaches new heights via its growling, all-conquering bassline. 'The bass definitely makes Elevation unique and it works so well on the dancefloor. Both tracks are extremely punchy, whilst not being too hard.'

This creatively adventurous new release comes hot on the heels of his last, the ‘Body Rush EP’, which was a big hit on national radio. It was made Sarah Story’s Future Dance Track ID and Sam served up a Peak Time Mix for the taste-making host while Pete Tong and Danny Howard also supported it. It's the latest in a long line of success that have come on labels like Four Thirty Two, Mele's Club Bad and Knee Deep In Sound, all of which mix up disco, house and 90s tribal sounds. The steamy opener 'Alchemy' slowly builds the intensity with rising synth leads and percussive grooves that lift you off your feet. Wailing vocals arrive to add to the transcendental feel and a majestic breakdown features lush chord work and spine tinging keys that bring the emotion. The equally impactful 'Andalucia' is another multi-layered track with glistening synths and smart use of vocals to bring bubbling energy to the dance floor. The loopy drums keep you locked as the synths evolve and another dramatic breakdown is lit up by melodies full of meaning and emotional intensity before the groove kicks again. This is a bold and brilliant new EP from the vital Sam Holland.

The fourth release on Worlds Apart comes from label honcho Erdi irmak together with the wondrous Flowers on Monday. They combine their unique sounds which results in two delightful organic house records 'Always' and 'Forever'. The productions have a lot of analog instruments in them and the guitar and vocal in 'Forever' fits perfectly with all the sounds they've created. Both records want to make you move and swing and are from a very high quality which make them perfect to set the tone for a warm and majestic summer night which will remembered 'always and forever'.

Following the fresh, organic house cut ‘Rollin’’ and right on time for the all the lovers of the low end at clubs and festivals, enigmatic producer outfit ÅNDfØLK (after a Proto-Scandinavian word ‘ånd’ for spirit) featuring Deanna Leigh discover their drug of choice on the new melodic techno slammer ‘My Favourite Kind’, out on Caramel Records 21 July. Electronic duo with close to 100K followers on Spotify, ‘My Favourite Kind’ illustrates ÅNDfØLK’s sixth sense for alternating between tension and release. Weaving Leigh’s surreal vocals into a smooth yet strong texture of abrasive, brassy stabs, and glistening pads, the song keeps building up towards one monsterly aggressive drop.

High Dose, No Sleep: A combination that results in a blissfully spaced-out state of mind when expressed through the groove of Andy’s Echo. The tight synthesiser sounds around which the title track of this EP reverberates have a sharp, metallic vibe to them that is blurred by bubbling waves of Acid. Guts on the other hand is all about the signature singer-songwriter qualities that make Andy’s Echo stand out from the mass of dance music producers.

This track feels as dynamic and rousing as the live concert of a band, while the boost of the electronic elements creates a subtle yet utterly compelling flow of dancefloor energy. And then there’s Face It, a track that opens yet another, completely different perspective of the musical talent of Andy’s Echo. Here it’s all about his voice, the verse and chorus structure creating a pop-infused atmosphere of intense warmth and friendliness.

Presenting their second release of the year, Just Movement opens the summer season by welcoming Zone + to the label for his debut single. Bahrain born Dubai based producer Zone + aka Zeyad Mohsen has been a fixture of the deep house community for the better part of a decade. Having firmly established himself with a resonate worldly sound and releases via All Day I Dream, Akbal Music, Hoomidaas and Sol Selectas; Zone + now sits as one of organic music’s elite talents. Also, a consummate DJ, Zone + has taken his impeccable taste and exquisite programming skills to some of the world’s premiere clubs and festivals, playing alongside Behrouz, Guy Mantzur, Lee Burridge, Rodriguez Jr., YokoO and more. Now, in a year that has seen Zone + feature on Tim Green’s recent Balance compilation, he continues to impress with his Just Movement debut ‘Labyrinth’, alongside a remix from Hermanez.

With a whimsical flair, it is the original mix which leads the release off. Warm, voluptuous basslines lay the foundation for spirited vocal elements and panoramic arps to work their magic. Driving percussive arrangements maintain an energetic cadence, while timely chord changes and placid pads move from esoteric to emotive leading into the break. Masterfully constructed, the interlude delights with its buoyant rhythmic themes, eventually melting down to calming percussive rides, perfectly setting the course for a groovy finale.

The release concludes with Hermanez making his label debut with the lone interpretation of ‘Labyrinth’. Hailing from Belgium, Hermanez brings an inventive approach to his brand of electronic composition. Throughout his varied discography, he touches on disparate themes and sounds, straddling a divide between intergalactic design and organic-inspired beats, resulting in one amorphous sound of his own. Initially known for his timeless, tech-soul productions on Mobilee Records, Noir Music and Suara, the Genk resident has enjoyed a career renaissance across the last half decade, remodelling his sound with deeper, more musical and delightfully organic leanings. It’s a shift that has propelled him into one of the genre’s elite talents, in turn landing him projects via All Day I Dream, Bedrock, Lost & Found, Souksonic and TRYBESof. Now, fresh off an EP for YokoO’s SATYA imprint, Hermanez makes his Just Movement debut with a spiritual take on ‘Labyrinth’. While maintaining the glowing spirit of the original, the Belgian artist crafts a sweeping sonic experience all his own, a transcendent journey into an organic hinterland, where fragmented vocals, warm synth phrasing and charming effects surface from their exotic architecture, onwards to a finale of balmy grooves and haunting overlays.

Steve Sibra is no newcomer to the French electronic music scene. Active since 1999, he has already released several albums and around forty EPs. 
Originally from Paris but now based in Montpellier in the south of France, Steve is a radio man. For many years, he hosted Laboratoire Sonore on Montpellier 91 FM, where he welcomed the cream of international artists to his show. 

Steve joined the Brique Rouge team in 2022 and, in just a few releases, has risen to become one of the core artists shaping the label's sound. He brings his inimitable touch of melancholic deep techno and melodic, cinematic soft house, sometimes infusing it with a strong electro influence and a few experimental touches. The quality of his productions having won over everyone who listened to them, it was only natural to (finally) offer an album that allows listeners to enter Steve's dancefloor universe.  

And what an album! With 21 tracks, it's more than an adventure, it's a huge sonic trip that draws you in from the very first track and takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions, vibrations, and sensations that doesn't let go until the very last track. It's a coherent universe, where every note is weighed for a minimalist approach to a melodious groove. 

Sometimes leaning towards “sunset music,” sometimes towards a slightly darker melancholy, Telepath Voodoo leaves no one indifferent, and each listen brings its own set of details and surprises.  So listen to it loud, listen to it on headphones, listen to it while dancing or meditating, but let yourself be carried away on this long journey that Steve Sibra offers you.  Undoubtedly one of the most important French House and Electronic artists of the moment.

Created in 1999 by David Duriez, the independent French label Brique Rouge continues to promote the electronic sound that David has always believed in and defended. Far from the formatting and excessive vulgarity of the current electronic scene, the label promotes an eclectic electronic sound that remains rooted in the underground and, above all, in a clubbing vibe.  In general, the artists on the team are given carte blanche, and it is above all the spirit that counts. The label does not seek success; it is a success. The success of being able to release music without compromise. With one release per week on platforms since 2020, the label (and its divisions RZ Muzik & Obliqu3) is seen as a key player in the French underground electronic scene due to its activism.
