Swedish tastemaker label House Music With Love kicks off 2023 with Brighter Days. It is a superb Winter Sampler which celebrates one month since the Winter Solstice, the darkest night of the year, and signifies the move towards spring and summer not too far away.

This fine compilation gathers five melodic and organic house tracks to get you warmed up and ready for the year ahead. Weekend Heroes from Israel, the duo behind Anjunabeats Top 1 selling track "Left to hide", kick off with the smooth electro inspired U Remind Me. Moroccan artist Touzani teams up with
Sofiya Nzau - who is Kenya’s fastest rising vocalist of 2022 - for the brilliantly organic and moving Afro house gem Ouria Deka complete with Swahili vocals.

A lot of experience and history evolve the image of Oxia and what he represents for dance music. Making his path through the most recognized clubs and events for over 20 years, Oxia is respected and praised both as a DJ and as a producer. Since 2016 he has commanded the important record label Diversions. It is a huge pleasure to have Oxia releasing Hold the Night EP for Warung Recordings. This is #WRG058 and it includes 3 tracks and a beautiful collab remix between the Warung resident Albuquerque  and the rising star Antdot.

Lee Burridge, Black Coffee, Gorje Hewek, Monkey Safari, Pablo Fierro, Vandelor, Somelee, Djuma Soundsystem, Savage & She all linked up in support for the superb new single Ni Wewe on House Music With Love in 2022. The 2023 remix is brought to us by Raj El Rey - one foot in dubby, stripped back, Malmö-influenced minimal house, the other foot in percussive, melodic, Nairobi-influenced deep house. 

Raj El Rey - "I fell in love with the original track the first time I heard it, such a well made track by Urmet and Idd! I think it was on a dancefloor somewhere in Malmö? Coming back to life again after the pandemic. I've always been a fan of Idd Aziz's vocals, so this track hit home for me - this incredible love song in Swahili, one of the languages I grew up with back home in Nairobi."

Seba Campos's lands on HMWL with Una Hormiga, a new single that follows previous big successes like Beatport Top 10s, heavy radio plays and high profile support.

Seba is a Chilean singer and electronic music producer currently living in Berlin. He transforms his own vocals so they sound like Latin American samples from the 60s. The result is a colorful mixture of his South American roots and the influence of the electronic music scene in Germany.

The artist says of the new tune “Una Hormiga means an Ant in Spanish. It describes someone trapped in a routine, moving forward like an ant without questioning, reflecting on the lack of meaning in everyday life and criticizing modern society's tendency to follow patterns without questioning.

This is folktronica at its finest, a deep cut with majestic tuba and intoxicating bohemian vocals over a laid back beat. It is full of tropical vibes and rich instrumentation. Una Hormiga (Marco Tegui & Munaylayt Remix) then becomes more club ready with tech edge drums and tight bass and synths. Argentinian two men circus Kermesse add a funky uptempo remix ready for all the 2023 Open Air parties.

Bar 25 Music is thrilled to announce the return of She Knows with their latest release, "Extraordinary." This EP is a masterful combination of melancholic, playful, and magnetic tracks that are sure to leave a lasting impression.

The EP includes two new tracks, "Extraordinary" and "Twisted and Strange," as well as the previously released single, "Something to Save," which debuted in April 2022 on Bar 25: Zeitgeist. These tracks were produced in She Knows' latest studio in Wilhelmsruh, Berlin, before Marcel's departure to Vitoria at the end of 2021. The tracks were mixed by the incredibly talented Zeno Mainardi, whose contribution was invaluable to the final sound.

This EP showcases She Knows' versatility, with a range of comic and dramatic elements infused throughout the tracks. The result is a collection of songs that are both touching and emotional, with rich textures and powerful melodies.

Sol Selectas returns with the 4th edition of its Global Entry 4 compilation, which features 11 organic house tracks by Amour Propre, Alar, Rex & Lyda, Memo Rex, Brett Leve, GEØVHÄN, Hamza Rahimtula, HOVR, N1NJA and Touzani, plus a collaborative cut by Nicoleo and Ariaty.

This spectacular selection has been hand-picked and curated by label owner Sabo and has an uplifting mood that focuses on the concept of new beginnings to mark 2023's approach of Spring and winter soon coming to an end. Although each of the tracks focuses on organic house, it also takes influence from other genres such as Afro house, deep tech and indie dance.

'Global Entry 4' is the fourth in the label's annual series of winter releases which help warm our hearts and minds as we wait for the summer months and festival season.

The artists who feature on the release are a mix of label favourites such as Amour Propre and Memo Rex, but all of the other artists are making their Sol Selectas debut, including the likes of Brett Leve and N1NJA whose tracks on the compilation are their first ever release.

Embracing different cultures from around the world, this multicultural release features music with roots in Indonesia, Argentina, France, UK, Colombia, India, Morocco, Spain, Germany and America.

Collectively, the artists who feature on this release has individually featured on other influential record labels such as Cafe De Anatolia, Bar 25 Music, Get Physical, Stil Vor Talent, Kindisch and Harabe.

Helia's artwork displays the Global Entry portal in a lush green jungle with otherworldly audio visitors bursting through the doors of perception.

HMWL Premiere: Rex & Lyda Feat. VanaVana - Aksum

Australian music producer and promoter https://soundcloud.com/uone is set to release his upcoming album, "Phantom Whistler," which promises to be a mystical and adventurous experience. "Project MK Ultra" - one of the first singles from the album features digestible melodies that are swirled around a harmonica, a trademark whistle, and a vocal discussing past wrongs done by those in power. The album's opening track, "Universal Wisdom," sees The Phantom Whistler acting as a medicine man, imparting spiritual lessons amidst a lattice of synths and sounds.

The album takes the listener on a journey through the Wild West, with "Strike a Match" being a seductive track that offers a middle finger to stifling authority, with guitars dripping in chorus pedals and a fat 4/4 engine. UONE has gained a reputation as a counter-culture iconoclast, and "Phantom Whistler" promises to be an intriguing addition to his already impressive discography.

1) What is your favorite book to read?

That's not an easy question because I definitely don't read enough. but
at the moment I'm reading the book: "Paris - ein Fest fürs Leben" by
Ernest Hemingway and I love the way Hemingway calmly talks about his
time and describes life as an artist in Paris.

2) If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?

There are a lot of good answers for the second question. I think
speaking for humanity, my superpower would be to end wars and hunger,
for me personally the greatest superpower would be to be infinitely free
from all constraints and conventions.

3) What's the longest you've gone without sleep (and why)?

the longest i was up was like 40
hours when we organized our own open air and were busy throughout the
night. Otherwise, sleep is very important to me and you will rarely find
me at extended after-hour sessions

Acclaimed independent electronic music label Selador Recordings has announced details of its landmark 10th Anniversary celebrations, which includes an exciting array of releases (on vinyl and digitally) featuring all-star collaborations and a series of worldwide events.

Selador was started by Dave Seaman and Steve Parry back in 2013 and has been at the forefront of club culture for the last decade, bringing its mantra of quality House and Techno and all shades in-between to clubbers and music fans around the globe. The label’s distinctive rabbit head logo has become a byword for genuine quality and consistency in a saturated marketplace - so it’s only fitting that fate has decreed that the birthday coincides with the Year of the Rabbit.

Selador will present a selection of exciting releases befitting of this milestone, with an array of artists who’ve appeared on the label over the last decade being invited to collaborate ontracks together. It’s an impressive list which showcases the respect in which original Dave Seaman and Steve Parry are held. 

As per with Selador, it’s a truly international affair, with every continent represented. The mouth-watering partnerships include:

The inimitable Hernan Cattaneo is jetting in to play an exclusive London set, joining Steve Parry and Dave Seaman, long time cornerstone of the label Just Her, and the mighty Warm Up residents.
Steve Parry of Selador said: “It’s hard to believe that we’re the owners of a label that’s been running for a whole decade. It sometimes still feels like we’re still a relatively new kid on the block in the grand scheme of things but with 10 years now under our belt. They say time flies when you’re having fun and our first decade certainly has flown by but I won’t say it’s been easy, because it is hard work, but I do genuinely love it. It’s a true labour of love”.

Fiona Kraft has spent much time condensing the different elements and ideas in her head together in the perfect sound. She says this new EP is the best representation yet of who she is and what she feels. It comes after years of developing her distinctive sounds and playing everywhere from Hi Ibiza to Watergate in Berlin, mixing up rhythmic and progressive sounds with euphoric breaks. The gorgeous 'Deeper Feelings' has dancing Afro drums overlaid with nimble piano chords. The pressure builds and the groove is in constant evolution as the jazzy keys hypnotize and the spiritual pads bring the warmth. It is a majestic and epic track that oozes future soul. Legendary Lyon producer Manoo adds two remixes. The first is a smooth and quietly intense rework with aching vocals swirling out of the mix to take you higher. The second is a deeper dub with a darker heart as the kesy speak to a broken heart. Last of all, Nice-born Scenarios and Flying Circus associate MAGA brings his melodic, organic and minimalistic patterns to a sublime remix. It's seven steamy minutes of piano-laced deep house joy with rolling drums that are peppered with percussion and hypnotic wooden hits.
