Label Press release: It's about time again, our eighth compilation finally sees the light of day. It is peppered with wonderful pearls from the most diverse styles of the downtempo universe and, as always, is intended to reflect the diversity of our favorite genre.

Again, we tried to find the right mix between friends who have been with us for a long time and have been shaping the downtempo scene for years, paired with a large number of newcomers who convinced us with their sound quality and approach to production.

The compilation was mastered by our engineer of trust Haunted Water and the signature artwork was contributed as always by Kilian Van De Water. Enjoy listening.

The electronic music scene welcomes a fresh collaboration as Madmotormiquel and Anna Almani come together to deliver a remix for Frigid Armadillo's "Penga" EP. The remix, available through BFM Records, offers a new perspective on the EP's sound.

Madmotormiquel and Anna Almani, both respected artists in their own right, bring their creative touch to the "Penga" remix. Known for his skillful beats, Madmotormiquel infuses the remix with energy drawn from classic punk rock and hip-hop influences. On the other hand, Anna Almani's remix reflects her genre-blending approach to music.

The "Penga" EP has been celebrated for its fusion of Amapiano grooves and crossover layers. With this remix, listeners can experience a different facet of the EP's sonic palette

Stepping back into the ring and on from the Swedish Disco Jets single "Don't Stop The Dance," which picked up an array of love and included support on Hed Kandi radio, Swedish label MB Disco returns and presents the Tensnake remix of "Run." With the original released in late '22, the Martin Brodin & Vision Factory collaboration features the unmistakable vocals of Teresa Kali and continues to garner support worldwide, with MB Disco now welcoming Tensnake on remix duties.

Needing little introduction, Tensnake comes off the back of a standout array of previous releases, including "Coma Cat" on Defected Records, along with "Antibodies" on Armada Music. Also amassing an enviable remix catalogue, Tensnake has worked on singles from Faithless, Duke Dumont, Dua Lipa, The Foals, and many others, notching up in excess of 225 million streams on Spotify to date. With continued support across BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM, SiriusXM, and beyond, Tensnake serves up his own take on the Martin Brodin & Vision Factory single "Run," while retaining the original's unmistakable vocal hook.

Label head Martin Brodin is the force behind MB Disco, and since its launch in 2010, they've welcomed cuts and remixes from the likes of Kraak & Smaak, Gerd Janson, Giorgio Moroder, Prins Thomas, and Aeroplane. Brodin's labels have always been an outlet for his own music too, and his productions have appeared on mix CDs from DJs as diverse as Carl Cox, Nick Warren, and Claude VonStroke.

Collaborating with Vision Factory on "Run," Martin Sauer and Jeffrey Sawodny are the creative minds behind the project, which was first founded in 2006 by FF1 Berlin. With previous output on the likes of Toolroom, Cr2, Enormous Tunes, Sirup Music, and many others, the Vision Factory beat goes firmly on.

With "Run" featuring the vocal talent of Teresa Kali, music has been part of her life since a young age, and as she grew up with a colorful mix of influences. Going on to join various cover bands in her homeland and focusing on Soul, Funk, and R&B, Teresa has performed in the studio alongside Prominent, Leslie Tay, and many others, along with working for Rob n´ Raz, the revered Stockholm-based producers.

Fast forward to the present, MB Disco now presents the Tensnake remix of "Run," so hold tight as it lights up in the coming weeks.

Djuma Soundsystem is back on iZIKI with a very soulful song, with Egyptian Adel Mekha on vocals, backed up by remixes from Fake Mood and Darksidevinyl.
"Manlaton" is a very deep house tune, featuring a vocal so beautiful, that it made our spine tingle! Adel Mekha is from the small Egyptian tribe of Mattokki. He sings directly to our hearts, in his native Nubian language "Kenzi".
Both remixers keeps true to original story, but gives it a more dance floor friendly approach. First up the Russian duo Fake Mood adds marimbas and percussions that make the body move as well as your mind wander.

Darksidevinyl uses a canvas full of colors, strings, atmosphere and tweaks that gives room for his own recorded guitar session.

The Scenarios label keeps up its recent momentum with another sublime EP from label co-founders Maga and Tim Engelhardt.

Scenarios, which is co-run by these artists alongside Emanuel Satie and Sean Doron, has become a standout in the melodic world known for its meticulous synth craft and truly moving grooves. Between them, this collective, which also hosts events under the same banner, has now put out nine EPs since launching only back in April 2022 and each time they explore fresh new ground while staying true to their signature sound. The tracks are always potent emotionally and moving rhythmically and this brilliant new brace proves that once more.

The opener 'Lev' is a deep and enchanting house cut from the off. There is a sense of drama in the drums and claps which thunder across the groove as the nimble bassline leads you late into the night. Once the warm, smeared chords arrive there is a captivating sense of soul to this most sophisticated sound. 'Reiki' is another stylish and emotional house affair with bubbling drums carrying you along beneath melancholic chords and twirling keys. As the groove ebbs and flows, intimate vocal whispers arrive and lock you further into a meditative state.

As always, this is another stylish and immersive offering from the forward-thinking Scenarios crew.
