Aalson unveils “Crystal” a new release filled with a lot of emotions!
 
At the end of last year, Aalson was channeling his frustration and making the most of the absence of concerts and events to create “Failure”. The French artist keeps reinventing himself with the release of his new “Crystal” outing on Sinners.
 
“Crystal” is also the name of the releases’  first track. Just like a gem, the track is extremely polished and carefully composed. It carries a delicate and touching mood, and the artist’s intentions gently becomes clear as day as the track evolves. Only one thing left to do: Get carried away!
 
With “Blind Moment”, Aalson tried to overcome his limits by trying out new production techniques and focusing on the emotional aspects of composing.
 
Once again, the result is in complete osmosis with the Sinners imprint. The music Aalson delivers is sincere and full of emotions, as the artist asserts himself progressively throughout his compositions.

Continuing the two-part album release, Anomaly Part 2 shifts the mood and showcases its edgier, darker techno. 

‘Fidenza’ by Strinner heads in a melancholy direction, layering eerie strings over minimal, deep bass. This is followed by “Voidance’ by two of Steyoyoke’s staple artists Nick Devon & Darko Milosevic, which continues the similar dark, determined tone. Shimmering piano and synths add another level of intrigue. ‘Carnal’ by Dahu then maintains this space, with a sparse, echoing track that lulls a listener into a state of peaceful trance.
The next track, ‘The Brightest Star’ by Darko Milosevic, starts from this same meditative place, but builds steadily throughout, widening the soundscape to end on a higher energy. Strinner & Arude come together to close off the album with ‘Aurora’ - a solid, high-energy number that combines layers of ethereal vocals with synths that drive the music forward, a strong and memorable end to the collection.

Anomaly Part 1 and 2 manages to combine high and low energy, dark and ethereal techno. It takes the listener on a distinct and coherent journey through the work of some of the most impressive producers in the contemporary techno scene and shows the strength of the label and its artists alike.

Steven Hays can be summed up in two words: dad extraordinaire. His music is largely inspired by his 5 year old son, as it is uniquely playful. Hailing from Austin, Texas, 'Somebody' is Hays' first musical outing, presenting tight yet groovy drums under a bed of vocal samples and a playful melody.

First on remix duty is talented producer, Solanca. Hailing from Denmark, Solanca has released on labels such as This Never Happened and Songspire Records. Solanca brings a progressive feel as he employs a myriad of bass stabs for those looking for a driving yet minimal take.

On final remix duty is respected duo Death on the Balcony. Mark Carmelli and Paul Hargreaves are teamed up as one of the most recognizable duos in deep house. The British duo have released on esteemed labels such as Anjunadeep and All Day I Dream, and are known for their deep yet minimal grooves. Their sound is present on the remix, stripping the track down to a powerful groove perfect for the club.

Welcome to Wolf Story on Einmusika. The Duo teamed up with Essa to create a wonderful floating vocal track which fits perfectly to the spring. On the B-Side we have a more technoid sound featuring a progressive arpeggiator. To complete the pack we asked Brooklyn based producer Brian Cid to remix the title track and the result is stunning!
