Hallo ihr lieben Weltenbummler,

heute weiten wir unseren Blick und schauen mal in den nahen Westen. Die Niederlande steht für Windmühlen, Tulpenfelder und immer wieder neue tolle Innovationen. Heute gibts einen weiteren Leckerbissen, einen alten Hasen im Music business, der weiß was er macht und wie er die Leute zum Tanzen bewegt.
Begrüßt mit mir einen guten Freund, einen Weltenbummler und einen sehr musikalisch Geprägten, jungen Mann.@aslanvenom <3

- Wie kam es dazu : Habe als Tänzer angefangen und viele Underground Techno & House Partys in den Niederlanden gefeiert. Arbeitete als Promoter für Partys und Clubs und beschloss nach Berlin zu kommen um meine Träume eigenen Events zu organisieren zu verwirklichen. Zwischen meiner Suche nach Gleichgesinnten fand ich eine Leidenschaft für das Sammeln von Musik und begann mit meinem Laptop zu dj-en. Um Feedback zu bekommen, fing ich an in Parks für Freunde zu spielen und bekam DJ-Gigs im Haus und illegale Rave-Partys. Unterwegs fand ich eine Gruppe von Gleichgesinnten und wir gründeten Fraktion Nimmersatt. Gemeinsam organisieren wir tolle Raves in verlassenen Gebäuden und beleben die Sensation der Berliner 90er!

Hello dear angel,

Even though we participate in raising awareness during #blackouttuesday we have decided to continue shining light through music. The music we upload on our SoundCloud is for us a way to give a message. We love to continue the music as it connects so many hearts and minds.

If you find kindness anywhere it is here in our family. But in these weird times I ask myself and all of us to radiate love and kindness, understanding and empathy, forgiveness and so on.

Before you two sets recorded live during the most beautiful United We Stream at De Marktkantine in Amsterdam. Our home, our nest, our dance heaven and even though it was empty a part from the team, the musicians and the performers. It brought back all the memories of the good.

So let's keep the focus on the good and make sure everything else will get better. At least we know that this set by our Maga blew us away completely.

"INSEAD 20D has been an incredible journey for me, professionally, personally, and even musically. I’ve had such a crazy opportunity to play a wide variety of genres of music, some of which I never even thought INSEADers would respond to, let alone rave all night to. The openness of you all to explore new styles outside your normal comfort zones with us has been really heart-warming, and I will carry so many fond memories of our gigs with me - I hope we get to play for you all again one day!

This mix follows my INSEAD journey, from the highs of meeting everyone in P1 to the lows of the darker times during the year. Every track I’ve included in this mix is attached to a very specific memory from this year (if you’re interested, feel free to ask me about individual tracks!).

San Diego native, Brian Scannell, was introduced to the electronic music scene from a very early age; during the ’00s era.
Throughout the years, he has developed a style showcasing a wide range of sounds and variations of Techno, Progressive, and Deep House. Brian started throwing parties in San Diego at the age of 18. At 21, he started his 'PROGRESS' brand, which features international talent in the deep house, progressive house, and techno genres. What started with a handful of people, now has grown to hundreds on a consistent basis, including talent such as Guy J, Luca Bacchetti, Brian Cid, Olivier Giacomotto, and many more. Brian has always believed in supporting artists, pushing boundaries, and helping educate the scene.
