We are very happy about @savsannah joining us for episode 029 of Tunes to Daydream.
Savsannah is based in Cologne and part of the DJ collective E.P.I.Q., she co-founded the queer-feminist collective called cumming, is host of her bi-monthly dublab DE radio show "This Must Be The Place", running the contemporary pop-focused label Safe Space Records and working with the Papercup Records family.

Savsannah delivery some spaced out tunes from house over breakbeats and bass music – but with overall atmospheric, dreamy sounds. Let her take you on a journey of her daydreams: "I often daydream about the worlds beyond. Places our minds can barely begin to comprehend. Depths we have yet to explore. The mystery keeps me longing to know their secrets."

FLAX is a Weimar-based DJ, sound artist, and cultural manager with a diverse background in various music scenes and subcultures. She started her journey as a DJ with the foundation of the network Metaware Weimar in 2019 and has since worked in various roles, including concept artist, music teacher, event manager, booker, and sound artist. Her style is described as "genrefluid trips" that blend different genres and sounds.

Balena started her musical journey at the age of 6 when she began playing the melodica and quickly picked up the accordion. Behind the decks, she moves like a whale (Spanish: ballena) through a sea of sounds: sometimes through playful house waves on glittering coastal beaches, often with powerful movements through driving basses of the deep sea. She takes her audience on a melodic journey through the infectious waters of music. Sometimes tender and nostalgic, sometimes wild and ecstatic.

The 4-track release comes out with a glittery bang on Polari, 29th of March.
