I wasn't intending to release this mix.

I was asked to make an old school mix for my friend that passed.

It was meant to be played along the slide show at his wake.

The songs I selected are some of Tony Tran's personal favorites and I had to throw in a remix by our beloved DJ Danyo (Daniel Schungel), who unfortunately passed before Tony.
The song titles felt like a way for Tony to comfort us and let us know things will be okay.

We miss you both. Hope you keep an eye on us and keep rockin' up in heaven my brothers.

As a teenager I always enjoyed the music my Father played on the acoustic guitar and piano, my father was a music teacher and always wanted me to learn but I dint want to. Finally I found the instrument I loved at the age of 17 Turntables. Me and my good friend David (IAMDJNRG) started with regular turntables, then of course I could not continue and he did becoming a professional, so now with technology so advanced at age 47 (as a Hobby) I decided to follow my love for the art of making people Dance, be Happy, and enjoy Life one Beat at a Time. I'm now 50 and regret not learning music from my father. He passed in 2019 due to cancer. I lost my inspiration for music and pretty much everything that had to do with music, he was going to teach me the basics and I figured that it would make his time during his chemo therapy a little bit exciting. But he only lasted 5 weeks, cancer did not even give him a chance to fight. Its almost a year later and I finally feel the Love for the music I had before. So here I go again very soon I look forward to uploading a simple mix Iam working on, its definitely challenging with out knowing the basics.
