Our platform has a strong connection with the vibrant Dutch scene. The sheer number of talented producers, DJs, and people interested in electronic music, in general, is astonishing. Making your talent stand out in that 'environment' is quite challenging, but when your skill is noticed, it must be for a reason. Our guest today, Bas Dobbelaer, has many reasons to be noticed. He's an incredibly talented producer and razor-sharp DJ with broad music knowledge but, first and foremost, a charismatic person and fun to be around. 

From our party with the dear SoHaSo crew back in 2018, when Bas and his comrade Viktor aka Vand, played a fabulous ambient set, until today, numerous outstanding releases, remixes, podcasts, and parties are under Bas' belt, and he's become one of the prominent figures in the Amsterdam's underground music scene. 

In light of Bas' and Vand's upcoming remix package on SoHaSo, which features works by Ultrastation, Donato Dozzy, Shoal, Gal Tsadok-Hai, and Marco Shuttle, we are happy to welcome Bas back here at Delayed. This time with a crème de la crème mix that is hypnotic in the word's true meaning. 
Deep and atmospheric with immaculate programming and seamless mixing, this mix has been on repeat in the past few days here at Delayed, and we are sure that the same destiny awaits you. A pure class from Bas!

Subatomic, subaquatic particles bubble up to the surface while you seep into a dark blue void. Such is often the sensation one gets while listening to our next guest, Daniel[i]. His music has a distinct oceanic quality that can be as riveting as it is serene. With releases on labels such as Norite, Lowless, and his own Whispering Signals imprint, he has carved out a niche for himself among deep techno and ambient fans alike. After releasing one of his tracks on the last Unrush compilation, it was only a matter of time until we had him on for a mix. Here has prepared an hour-long live ambient set, exemplifying the true nature and depth of his sound. Gilles Wasserman (@gilleswasserman), a Brooklyn-based DJ, and producer, boasts over two decades of experience in the electronic music scene. He co-founded the music platform Delayed (@itsdelayed) and the newly minted record label Never Late (@never-late). He's been making music alongside his partner in crime, Irina Kotik, as Moon Patrol. He has released music on labels like On Board Music, Oslated, Huinali, Lost in Translation, A Friend in Need, Lossless, and Accents Records. With a monthly radio show, 'The Night Before,' on Radio D59B (@radiod59b), Gilles delves into the depths of electronic music, showcasing what's new in the 'left field' world.

Back in April we invited Alfonso to perform an extended set, starting in the early afternoon till sunset.
The outcome was an epic dive, deep into his selection of vinyls, spanning ambient, dub and techno.

So excited to welcome BLNDR to the series, a long-awaited delight after observing the French producer develop his magnetic and kaleidoscopic sound over the years. BLNDR's mix is glimmering and atmospheric, reflective of the patient and meticulous nature inhabiting his work as both BLNDR and his more-recent Traevor alias. Voiced in a heartfelt tone and assembled with a poet's touch, this set is a soft yet spry landing to an intense season, breathing a new air, fluttering to a new rhythm, earnest to the very end. I enjoyed this one immensely and I hope you will too. Thanks Tom!
