#afx \ best way i can explain this was falling in love with someone that didnt exist, it couldve been applied to anyone and everyone. liferush. I mean it was for luke's competition but when I was making it I obviously had other thoughts going around me ed. Was hard keeping it a secret from him, i had an advantage, i knew better than most what luke liked !-)  I gave the prize to the runner up, i forgot his name now. It's quite quiet becuase the sub is so loud and low, trade/off. \ Won the Future Music competition for the best Luke Vibert remix. Initially formed as the teenage project of sisters Annie and Georgie, Hockeysmith is now a solo project by Annie, who resides in her static Winnebago in Cornwall. Annie Hockeysmith has been taking her time developing her sound and a whole world of music around her project. Working with the likes of 4AD and Nis Bysted (Escho), she has returned to her kindred musical soulmate Andy Smith (Lxury) to complete her debut mini-album, “I Am For Life”. Her catalogue of experimental electronica is impressive, creating everything from Cornish acid under the synonym “Annie eel” to empowering pop anthems. Hockeysmith can turn her hand to almost anything. Aphex Twin is a fan.
