Lenz is an electronic duo formed by Irish DJ & producer (DJ Joma) and German vocalist, songwriter (Moon Aton). Working together since 2020, they have enjoyed several successful releases to date on labels such as Colour & Pitch, Personal Belongings, 3Bridge Records, Nordic Voyage Recordings, M-Sol Records, Suprematic Recordings, Nicksher Music and Be Adult Music (Ibiza). With a string of releases already scheduled for 2022, it promises to be a bright future for Lenz.

Their monthly 'Night Whisper' Podcast show seemed like the natural progression of what they have been doing, and thanks to the help of radio stations like Pure Ibiza Radio, Ibiza Global Radio, Bloop Radio London, Boogie Bunker Radio (Tenerife), Estacion Ibiza Radio, Data Transmission Radio, Radio Zoom (Berlin), Graffiti Kings (London) and Like That Underground (Germany), it has developed brilliantly, and helped bring the Lenz sound to all corners of the world.

3 QUESTIONS to RAN SALMAN:

Q: Looking back through ages, how did these tracks shape your later career?

A: These tracks opened my appetite to music and Electronic Music specifically, my approach and inspiration to music came out of this. Whether it is Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Deep Dish or Bedrock to name a few, I've been inspired and taken something out of every one of them.

Q: What did you do during the off time we all had in 2020?

A: I've taken the time to build new instruments, produced new music and spent time with my family. It's a bit of a weird time but we have to find the benefits in it, but overall I can't wait to be back on stage.

Q: Which future projects are on the way?

A: A very interesting remix to a famous world music artist is already done and will be available soon, besides I got a many new tracks and an upgraded live show with new instruments which I will reveal soon.

12.09 Live Love Laugh Festival in Tallinn had its FINALE in Kultuurikatel with Ben Böhmer making his set finally in our hometown. Nordfold meticulously crafts his sound, blending elements from different eras and genres. With his music he tries to grasp and evoke a feeling of endlessness and wonder. 

A collaborative remix together with Budakid of Seth Schwarz' "Aphelion" on 3000 Grad catapulted him on our radars. The development since then is impressive: releases and remixes on heavyweight labels such as Einmusika, Stil vor Talent, SUDBEAT, and most recently, Anjunadeep, underline his tremendous production skills. On November 3rd, Nordfold returns to Anjunadeep with his new EP ‘Down Memory Lane’.

It's not only his productions that are top, his mixes are something else. With his Smokey Margarita Nordfold is taking us on a smooth and beautiful ride through various electronica genres, perfectly blended. Get comfy and enjoy this smooth but uplifting sip!
