Wow, I am truly at a loss for words at how incredible this weekend was. Such a powerful life moment for me. It was a joy and honor to play for a sold out Exchange LA, and to open up and play alongside some of my biggest inspirations - Jody Wisternoff & Marsh.

Everything was so perfect, the air was electric, and I couldn’t be happier for how the night went. My heart is so full thinking of how many of you took time and energy to drive, train, or fly from over 8 states to come see the show. I couldn't be more thankful for you or your support. A night I will never forget and easily one of my favorite shows I have ever played. I gave it all I had, and I hope I made you proud.

Big thanks to Tom for inviting me to play that evening during his massive album tour. Much love to Exchange LA & Insomniac for their hospitality that evening, and big love to Bob and Andrew for the videos/photos you see in this post and capturing this significant moment for me. Last but not least, big love to all my fans out there who came out and shined your beautiful lights. Seeing you all on the dance floor gave me such joy and strength throughout the night. Ultimately, it was so great to see so many of us relax and connect in such a meaningful way. When it comes down to it, that is what really matters, I play for the sole purpose of connecting more to ourselves and to each other and I hope you can feel that in this set.

The last time we played Kings Hall at Brooklyn Mirage was our second gig ever as Leaving Laurel, in October of 2021. It feels like a really long time ago. Emotions & nerves were high.. everything felt very new to the two of us. We didn't quite know what DJing as Leaving Laurel together would sound like at the time but we were having fun figuring it out. 

Fast forward almost 2 years later, to this past Friday & it felt like our set in Brooklyn had become all of those experiences together compressed into one moment. We felt calm & proud, knowing Pierce was right there smiling.
