Bufi’s new EP is the first steps into his dance floor oriented music turnover. “Crackles” can be seen as a turning point between two DJ set’s. While the first track is perfect to close a warmup, the second track suggests the beginning of the climax of the night. “Bees” is like a pop song in disguise, built on two alternating sections; the first one is a classic 4/4 disco beat with what could be an imaginary Chic air-suspended micro bass line on repeat, while section B is a melancholic laid-back groovy sort of chorus, but with just backing vocals on it. On the other side “El Tecno En Tu Idioma” is a solid Chicago-House groove with quirky and ghostly slapped español vocals all over it, seasoned with spacey bass-guitar harmonics and 80′s juno-esque lead synths.

Wah Wah 45s bring you four incredible re-works from French disco don The Reflex, for our very own legendary Canadian/Haitian keyboard wiz Henri-Pierre Noel.

Funky Spider Dance is a percussion heavy bomb filled to the brim with Henri's soaring piano licks and infectious female vocal hooks. The Reflex has taken what was already a sure-fire club favourite, and created something of a dance floor destroyer.

His rework of A Fifth of Beethoven takes its time to build into another heavy hitter. As the beats make way for Henri's deft keyboard flourishes, the recognition of this cover of the Walter Murphy classic (taken from the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack) begins to dawn - and as it does, it's clear that once again the dream team of HPN and The Reflex have worked their magic!

The Reflex's Revision of Back Home...; Sweet Home is a modern Island Funk masterpiece with organ and tropical guitar riffs making way for sunny brass stabs all underpinned by foot friendly beats.

And last, but most certainly not least, the full-length version of The Reflex's re-working of the dancer's favourite Diskette, is available here for the very first time in all of its glory!

The original versions of Funky Spider Dance and Back Home...; Sweet Home can be found on Henri's One More Step album, Diskette is taken from his debut, Piano, and his take of A Fifth of Beethoven was recently available on 7-inches of wax - all on Wah Wah 45s of course. Demuir marks an inaugural release on Hot Creations with High. Alive. And Dirty., a
diverse four track EP made up of all original records.

The EP opens with Santa and The Elf. A penetrating bassline ratchets up and down, as horn
like synths whir occasionally in the background, alongside tassel-like hi-hats. Up next, the title
track High. Alive. And Dirty. provides stunning contrast. A happy, funk-fuelled number, the
track incorporates disco elements with “positive and soulful vibes”, before Rawness - Beat 3
features a “raw native structure”, bongo sounding drums and tropical vocals to from a well-
rounded, feel-good record. Eerbawdy Wants to Deeezsko rounds off the EP in fine form, with
more disco elements and chiming, emotional keys.

Canadian-based Demuir is a distinctive talent in the electronic music sphere. A prolific
producer, Demuir has already made a home on labels including I’m A House Gangster as well
as Cassy’s Kwench Records, whilst he is soon set to release on Loco Dice’s iconic Desolat
imprint.

Yesco, and dance floor international star Mateo Gonzales Bufi deliver
Paris, a lost jewel of the extensive BufI & La Royale catalog. This
Mid Tempo bomb bears a future funk  vibe, electronic rawness that the
mexican crowd always loves and the typical dream pop aura that Bufi
has mastered through the years with his vocal work.

A perfect dance floor opener, and year opener, for lots of new

‘Use Me Again’ is Tom Trago’s evergreen club classic. Originally released at the start of 2010 it became a staple track in many DJs sets.

The track is based around an infectious loop in true disco spirit and it lights up every dancefloor its been played to. The original version has been yet again re- mastered for this 2012 release.

Carl Craig has been one of the track’s biggest fans ever since it was first re- leased, at a certain point he was playing it out in almost every set. For this release he came up with a typical c2 re-tweak.
