Although he is mostly known as a crate digger, he started his way to establish himself as an artist aswell and just released his first solo-EP in winter 2021 🎛️🤝
This mix is a representation of his vision for the dancefloor - a build up, dreamily riding up into peak time techno that blends melody, texture, soul, funk, and emotion. It's a blend of his favorite modern tracks, 90s cuts, some of his own own productions + unreleased tracks by artists he deeply respects. 🖤

"With this mix, I aimed to make the techno mix I want to hear—both as someone on the floor and as someone listening in headphones. This collection of songs is focused primarily on theme and narrative. My primary goal was using layering and track selection to bring story and pacing to the forefront. There are lots of different textures, styles, and eras within this mix, but cumulatively it represents my definition of a modern approach to classic techno: raw, soulful, rhythmic, stripped-back, and futuristic."

Luke's 1997 album „Freek Funk“, as well the releases on his own label @mote-evolver have played such an important role in all of our lives and his ability to still deliver at this level after being in the game for so long, is something that inspires us and makes us look up to him 🙏

Camila Milieme has been playing techno long enough to experience a few of its boom-and-bust cycles. Starting off in Brazil in the late '90s with the kind of rippling, tooly techno you'd expect from that era, Milieme lost interest once things started going minimal and took a break from techno to take up studying instead. By the time she checked back in, the genre had taken a turn closer to the stuff she used to play, so she packed up her bags and moved to Berlin, where she's become an indispensable part of the techno scene. 

As The Lady Machine, Milieme has released on Mote-Evolver and also runs her own label, Unterwegs, with UK producer Decka. As you'll hear on her RA Podcast, she prefers a classicist (yet, still, modern) style of techno that mixes toughness with texture and detail. With plenty of unreleased tracks from her cohort and tracks from British Murder Boys, Jeff Mills, Dave Clark and Christian Wunsch, this is a timeless techno mix for heads from any generation, from the '90s to the '20s.

With a sharp, distinctive style, Federico glues timeless 90s techno influences with effective sound design to make club music that’s often melodically guided.

With his debut record out on SK and another one coming up very soon on the same imprint, Federico wasted no time with DJ gigs, throwing himself in the international scene alongside top-tier artists for a career that’s only getting started.

90s Techno Redux - Mix 002

Raised in the outskirts of Berlin, Fadi Mohem developed a passion for electronic music at a young age. His studies in Sound Engineering and the subsequent work as a Mix & Recording Engineer improved his technical skills and the sound of his own productions. Instead of following trends, Fadi Mohem always seeks to fulfil his own sound ideals. Influenced by early Detroit Techno and Berlin Dub Techno, Drum & Bass, Dubstep and IDM, he likes to break the frame. He demonstrated all this on his Glitch Club Series debut in 2019, instantly becoming a Glitch favourite.

He is just as impressive across the course of this set as he cooks up an intense ride through his deep affinity with Detroit techno and pumping rhythmics that will leave you out of breath.
