Black Diamonds Records brings the Austrian/Japanese producer Ken Hayakawa to the label with his groove-oriented Melodic House Digital Illusion EP. Ken Hayakawa digs deep during this time of corona and delivers these outstanding multi-dimensional tracks with atmospheric synth lines, groovy beats, innovative sound design, and a lovely aesthetic touch. Look forward to hear more Ken Hayakawa releases coming in 2021 on Black Diamonds Records.

The title track, Digital Illusion, is a statement on the illusions of reality woven by the media in the digital age. This is a serious and timeless track that finds a deep groove and carries the listener on a chimerical journey.

The b-side of this EP is the anthemic Mice on Mars which makes great use of the Korg MS-20 to create a whimsical, synth-heavy track with a solid groove.

Notably, Ken Hayakawa also appeared on the recent compilation from Schönbrunner Perlen, along with the likes of DJ Hell, youANDme, Petar Dundov, and Marco Resmann.

Physicist turned Producer, @pyrame emergence into the electronic music scene is a story of wanderlust, dream catching and cosmic energy. A poet at heart, he takes the opportunity to create raw emotion through both his melodies and lyrics, when if you listen closely, are inspired by his endless adventures of the world around him.
Combining elements of synth-pop, post-disco and progressive electronica, his DJ affair of building both his sound and his label contains a touch of surrealism, heritage and fantasy, as his inspiration is pulled from the twists and turns of Greek Mythology. His label, appropriately named Thisbe Recordings (www.thisberecordings.com), comes from the myth of “Pyramus and Thisbe” which are most well known as the couple of ill-fated lovers by the ancient poet Ovid.

Being influenced heavily by new wave, metal and grunge growing up, his evolving taste and wanderlust saw him later inspired by the likes of LDC Soundsystem. Connected to both classical and electronic music throughout the years, and having dabbled in bands from a young age, Pyrame felt it was finally the time to put his passion for music first.

Releasing his debut EP “A Fine Life” in June 2019 on HIFI/LOFI Records, Pyrame has already matured in his sound so much. Releasing his first EP as a
synth-/electro-/cosmic-pop package, his second EP, "The Pace of Everything That Lives" provides a darker and more electro tone to his music, drifting into a more techno universe too.

Twenty episodes! I can't believe it. I am really thankful that this was possible and is still going on. 

I learned through the first episodes and made a few changes. I always wanted each episode to be as unique as possible and having the same cover felt not right so I redid them all, including individual trailers on my instagram page. 
 
And one last thing: For the first time in this podcasts history I did not use visuals from the nice walkers on youtube (Rambalac, actionkid105, watched walker, Wanna Walk)... I shot the video myself in mid September. I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I enjoy hosting this podcast.
