Third in our mix series is Holding Patterns’ co-owner and low-end specialist Evergreen.

This mix traverses through BPM and genre with one continuous theme: sub. 

Dark swells of ambient tapeloops are punctuated with dub-techno chops, bubbling chord delays, and hypnotic melodic variations.
The tone of the mix begins as a vast and abstract backdrop, that hones it’s self in on precise and up-front drum machines and sub bass.

Evergreen hosts a monthly night, entitled ‘Evergreen Presents’, at Holding Patterns, showcasing the best of live electronic acts.

BDB founders Keegan and Gabe fuse triphop, dub, and ambient flavours across this two-hour excerpt of their live mix. 

Following their event at Club Eiger, hosting Pariah, BDB will return to Holding Patterns on October 27th with Leeds' favourite, Ed Vector.

Back Door Beats @ Holding Patterns 27/08/25

Based in Hebden Bridge, Jomo has been treating the North to tropical global sounds. Following her sets at Northern Green Gathering and Beatherder festival, Jomo came down to Holding Patterns and knocked our socks off with her selections.

Her mix moves between soul, dub, cumbia, and gaita with sprinklings of hip-hop -  all connected with poly-rhythmic blends.

Jomo’s next gig will be at Nelson's Wine Bar in Hebden Bridge on the 7th of November.

Jomo @ Holding Patterns 30/09/25

Coming in next for our mix series is spacetown with a chuggy acid special.

Slowing down his usual pace, spacetown corrals us through a steady psychedelic exploration of 303s and sequenced a-tonal bleeps. Hypnotic textures morph from broken kick patterns into a 4x4 foot stomping mix. It’s a wonderful journey of tension and release.
