Guardian Freelancer and life long skateboarder Bruno Rinvolucri recently published an article(https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2017/aug/07/skaters-make-cities-safer-fight-save-southbank-centre-skatepark) on Southbank Undercroft and the way skateboarders naturally and unwittingly make urban spaces safer. The following interview with LLSB campaign creator Henry Edwards-Wood was conducted as part of his research and has been cut down from a 4 hour mega chat to this 1 hour recording. Subjects covered include the Long Live Southbank campaign past and present, skateboarding as a lifestyle/art, the mathematics of the lexicon of skateboard tricks and Henry's life experiences growing up as a skateboarder in early naughties South London.
