Say What? 183 is the next one in line and this time we are coming in hot with Chicago Loop and his amazing 3-track release. The name Chicago Loop has now been firmly stamped throughout the modern world of techno, albeit within a fairly short space of time. The man behind this relatively new alias however, is certainly not a newcomer to the scene. Ant Wilson, or Ant to his friends, has been producing electronic music and traveling the globe playing clubs, events and festivals for the last 25 years. 

First up on the release is 'Carousel' - a heavy-duty dancefloor beast that is destined to break the charts. Hard hitting from the start with oldschool stabs and surprising trumpets that makes the track so special and super easy to play for DJs from many different genres. 

Second is 'Transfixed', Chicago Loop masterfully weaves together the old and the new together with unconventional soundscapes and rhythms. The track feels fresh and unpredictable but won’t stop you from dancing to the lush vibe that it brings. 

The last track of the release is 'Raw Grit' - a massive tune that establishes a hypnotic grip and pulls the audiences into a pulsating universe of sound. The track seamlessly blends deep basslines, intricate synths and textures from start to end to give you that bliss full techno experience.Each track on this release is carefully designed to evoke a sense of euphoria while maintaining an undercurrent of dark intensity.

Project - Direct Dizko' a cornerstone in the techno genre that has left an indelible mark since its initial release in 1998. The original track, known for its electrifying melody and pulsating energy, was first introduced as part of Samuel Onervas' S.O. Project and has undergone various remixes over the years, including notable versions by Dub Foundation, T78, and Housequake. These adaptations have continually revived the track's spirit, showcasing its lasting influence in the techno scene. 

In their latest interpretation, Drumcomplex & Frank Sonic breathe new life into this classic. Retaining the original melody, they infuse it with a heightened sense of aggression and energy, delivering a sound that is both modern and meticulously crafted. The duo's version stands out with its stomping kick and groove, offering a fresh perspective on the beloved techno masterpiece.

The first release coming up is ‘Obsidian’, like the volcanic glass, the track is rock solid techno. A  nearly 7-minute driving rush, minimalistic, repetitive yet explosive. 
Obsidian is the first of a trilogy, which will be completed during 2021. The artwork is made especially for this track by ‘dotting’ artist Srch_of.
