Residents of the Golden Gate Village housing complex and their supporters rallied outside the Marin Civic Center demanding immediate repairs to their homes. They also protested the County’s revitalization plan for the property, which they say will lead to gentrification and displacement for current Golden Gate Village residents.

Folks around the U.S. celebrated Indigenous Peoples' Day on Monday with protest, prayer, and acknowledgement of the first peoples of this land we inhabit and (some)call the United States. We are honored to be joined in this episode by two guests, Joe Sanchez and Lucina Vidauri. Both are decedents of Coast Miwok, the first peoples of Marin and Southern Sonoma. Join us to hear their ancestors' stories of prosperity, marvel, escape, and perseverance in the hills of what we call Marin County.
