I suppose it was the combination of flute and bass clarinet- put me in mind of Eric Dolphy (Jitterbug Waltz, Music Matador). I have enjoyed listening to many of your pieces on this site. BTW- I live a few miles (used to be over the road) from Rev. Dodgson's birth place  in Cheshire).
