Introducing Mushrooms, the latest progressive house collaboration between Pakistans emerging talent, goodkidmadcity, and Argentinas Gastón Rodríguez. This release features the original track alongside three distinctive remixes by VegaZ SL, Sabrina Rivas, and Maxi Solo, each infusing their unique styles into the composition. 

goodkidmadcity has rapidly gained recognition in the progressive house scene, earning support from industry figures like Nick Warren and DJ Ruby. Gastón Rodríguez, hailing from Córdoba, Argentina, is known for his organic, dark, and hypnotic sounds, with performances at venues such as Fridom and Selina. Sri Lankan DJ and producer VegaZ SL brings his deep, emotive, and atmospheric touch to his remix, reflecting his passion for progressive house and melodic techno. Argentine artist Sabrina Rivas, an emerging figure in the electronic music scene, offers her authentic and passionate take on the genre. Maxi Solo, known for his collaborations with goodkidmadcity, adds his signature progressive flair to the mix. 

Each version of Mushrooms delves into deep progressive house, showcasing the individual artistry of the producers while maintaining a cohesive and immersive listening experience.

Freezing winters, packed after-hours, and a scene that thrives just outside the spotlight is Montreal’s rhythm. This VA draws from that energy.

Guy Laliberté invited a handful of local artists reworking Cirque du Soleil in their own language: raw, stripped-back, and built for the dance floor.

Each remix brings something different to the table, but they’re united by a shared sense of restraint. The grooves are tight, and the low-end does most of the talking. You’ll recognize the DNA of the originals, but the context is new.

Hicky & Kalo’s take on Temperatio stands out for its deep emotional pull — hypnotic yet understated, it channels the track’s theatrical origins into something more intimate and meditative, perfectly tuned for the early hours.

This VA is about grounding Cirque du Soleil in the pulse of the city. In studios, on dark floors, through sound systems that favor pressure over perfection. It’s a subtle, thoughtful collection that reflects where Montreal is at right now.

As part of Frooogs Records’ ongoing remix series, the Montreal VA takes Cirque’s legacy and gives it a new frame — one that feels lived-in, local, and ready for after hours.
