An Answer back to why I chose the path to rap.

Born and raised in Freeport, The Bahamas, Patricia aka Hollie Wood and her family made the move to the “The city”, Nassau when she was 16 years old. Patricia grew a strong love for music, acting and entertainment at a young age. As, a toddler you would of constantly spot Patricia dancing and singing around the house. Patricia was well known at both her schools in Nassau and Freeport for her love for dancing, rapping, modeling and acting but never was able to fit in the popular crowed. As a quiet teen music became her way of escape and expressing her pain, struggles and joy. Soon music made Patricia very known in her schools. Because Patricia wasn’t good at fitting in and wasn’t really accepted she created dance groups, modeling groups, and wrote and composed music to perform. She found love, acceptance, and purpose in her Art and her love for performing gave her the courage to face world. The name Hollie Wood later came when she became a dancer at a few night clubs. She decided to keep the name as a statement that no matter where you came from, no matter how hard life was, no matter what mistakes you made always follow your dreams!
