Here is an unknown DIY mix from 1992. Myself and my friends were breastfed on this mix mix throughout college in the early 90's. . Mixing aint great (who cares?) but the tunes are amazing and bouncing!! Any more insight, tracklist is muchly appreciated :) Digs and Woosh fom DIY were the first DJs we booked for my first ever clubnight with Herbie Saccani in 1996 , called Jam Mode at the Boardwalk, Manchester in 1996. These guys are a huge inspiration! House music all night long!

This mix was assembled based on what I was feeling at the time.  It is a fall into darkness.  It is the realization that I am the monster in the dark but I am  also my own light in that darkness.  We are all who we see ourselves to be and the world only sees us as we see ourselves.  Be the light in your darkness and the light you want to see in the world.

Simplistic Music Company, Sprout, and Southtown Vinyl Present: Textured - An Afternoon of Music, Wellness, and Friends!

Come celebrate three generations of Texas DJs, spanning from San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, and all the way to London.

Join us in the Southtown Vinyl parking lot from 2 PM to 11 PM for a day filled with music, wellness, and community. This is a free event, but donations are welcome! All donations will be split evenly between DJs and staff. QR codes for donations will be available soon.

We’ll kick off the day from 2 PM to 3 PM with a special DJ set and yoga class from our friends at House of Rhythom . Be sure to dress comfortably and bring your mat!

Treat Street Food Truck will be coming through with all the sweets and eats! Big thanks to the #TreatStreet Team for agreeing to come out and feed the party!
