Cool stuff I like

It was supposed to be a laid back Wednesday night before Halloween in Montreal but then the food started coming, and then the drinks (or maybe the drinks came first) and then the friends and then the vibes and before you know it we were on one.  

Thanks to everyone who came out and danced, I wasn't expecting to enjoy myself as much as I did in the middle of the week!

As you can see, it's been a crazy bunch of months since Burning Man.  I was waiting to drop something new after my Robot Heart Mix was released but we could be waiting on that forever!

I was inspired to put together a mix of some of the music played this past weekend during a surprise B2B I did with Francesca Lombardo at Stereo in Montreal this past weekend coupled with some of the standouts from my last few months playing in Ecuador, Mexico and Canada.

I've spent a great deal of time in Montreal this winter and it's allowed me to learn more about this city and my existing friends while also making some fantastic new ones.  

Beneath one of the city's hot spots Joverse there lies a perfectly intimate and well tuned room that's perfect to get the gang together and bang out some tunes.  

Last Thursday that's exactly what we did.

We'd been waiting for this one since NYE when an impromptu tag set happened between these two and we knew it was fate at it's finest hour.  We got the boys together and the result was incredible, a 4 hour B2B set with The Scumfrog also providing some live drums to compliment the set had Mighty in a frenzy of dance.  We are certainly looking forward to doing this again!

After a small summer break we are back with a new deep story. This time its a special emotional mix with an urgent message. We are more than happy to have wilson.solidarity on our podcast series.

wilson.solidarity is a German DJ with Bengali roots – a cultural and personal background that deeply shapes his sound. His sets move within the realm of slower, driving techno, often infused with hip-hop influences. His music is never just functional – it tells stories. Stories of identity, resistance and belonging. As an member of the collectives Rebellion der Träumer (@rebelliondertraumer) and Tanz mit den Sternen(@nrzp), he shares his vision of a better world through his music. Music against racism!

His set closes with a poem that pays tribute to the victims of the racist attack in Hanau and serves as a reminder that racism is not a distant problem, but a lived reality for many. By embedding this message into the podcast, he creates space for both joy and awareness. Thank you wilson for your music and for reminding us that techno is for everyone!

Christian’s musical journey began in the UK, where his love for electronic music first took root. After relocating to New York, he discovered the city’s underground scene—an experience that ignited his passion for DJing. Since then, he’s become a respected presence in the global underground community, recognized for his sophisticated sound and deep connection to music.

As a resident DJ for Bespoke Musik (@bespoke-musik) and Beachouse Ibiza (@beachouseibiza), Christian curates soulful sets that soundtrack sunlit days on Playa D’en Bossa. He also recently joined the All Day I Dream (@alldayidream) family, appearing in their streaming series and gracing stages at Space Miami, Cova Santa Ibiza, and All Day I Dream festivals around the world.

His style blends deep, grooving basslines with emotive, melodic textures—creating an atmosphere equally suited for late-night dancefloors or dreamy sunset sessions.

Beyond the decks, Christian helps manage the Bespoke Musik label alongside its founder, Rocky Ramniceanu. In 2024, he released his debut collaborative EP with Powel (@powel), further showcasing his artistic range. With past performances at venues like Sisyphos Berlin, Robot Heart at Burning Man, and Café D’Anvers Antwerp, Christian continues to push boundaries—bridging timeless sounds with contemporary energy as Bespoke Musik expands globally.
