Is there a difference between MKH8020 and AT4022?

are the at4022 a matched pair? Getting in to Field Recording, just bought the SD mixpre 3 II, hope to get a par of at4022s and start recording.

Great recording. Would you mind sharing how you post process the sound? i will like to learn a little more about post processing nature sounds.

Long overdue, we've finally got back to the task of editing up more tracks pulled from our four improvisations using sounds kindly provided by @anmoku, recorded early this year. This one was taken from the fourth jam in the series, recorded 28/01/21 and unusually for us, is relatively calm and peaceful.

🏴 'Dystopian 001' is split release between the sound artists Manja Ristić and Toni Dimitrov, and it is part of the new 'Dystopian series', showcasing a more abstract, darker, obscure and politically infused side of the sound of élan vital artist roster. Inspired by everyday life in the last several years living in realized dystopian visions and darkest predictions, the sound on this series will be the soundtrack for our daily dystopian reality. We are all aware that the future of our civilization is not bright, but that doesn't mean we are not living in an exciting epoch.

🏳️ Part one brings two longer pieces, presenting the dark side of the mystical long form experimentations by the Serbian violin and field recordings diva Manja Ristić and the latest field recordings experiments of the sound art naturalist Toni Dimitrov. Through this joint release the artists are trying to explore the potential for change of the society, resulting in a mature, expressive and complex album.

One of the last fishermen in Makholma Village going to sea (after taking things from tool shed  of corrugated steel)in early morning at the time of sunrise. On a calm morning, the boat can be heard 45 minutes or 5 nautical miles.

Field recordist, bird watcher and a digitized former darkroom rat living in little Makholma village on the West Coast of Finland by the Baltic Sea - 61N 21E

These recordings are done in AB stereo with omnidirectional microphones. With this technique everything in the field will be equally meaningful, even the silence behind the microphones. That's why you should use headphones!
