Here is a new jam track recorded live and made on my modular to patiently wait for winter. 

The main drums sources were the endorphines Black_Noir for the snare (saturated with terce ruina).
Then the HH with drum 2 from erica synths, a few drum sample from my bitbox mkII triggered by the wonderful Zularic repetitor. And an additional pad/synth coming from plaits and going through some effects. 

Probably one of my last upload of the year. A video of that jam should be posted on my instagram soon.

No mix or master just an unedited recording.

Backspin – the imprint launched by Regal as a love letter to early 2000s Hardgroove – welcomes techno titan Marco Bailey with the 'Drivetonik' EP: a powerful blend of past and present that pays homage to Hardgroove's golden era while keeping the focus firmly on today's dancefloors.

The EP opens with the title track 'Drivetonik', a brand-new production that sets the tone: raw, rolling and built to move bodies. A straight-up Hardgroove banger, it's Bailey at his most focused. All momentum, no compromise. What follows is a rare treat for longtime heads: three classic tracks, originally released on the legendary Primate Recordings, now freshly remastered for 2025. 'Hustler' brings the bounce with its infectious and instantly effective sound. The third collaborative EP sees Clergy boss, Cleric, team up with French artist Kmyle. On remix duties is Blueprint label owner, James Ruskin, in what is a perfect way to conclude the final chapter in this series of five releases (CRG011 - 015). The ‘Empty Shells EP’ is due for release April 12th.

‘Empty Shells’ offers an unusually stripped back approach, concentrating on the raw modular rhythm that carries the track. Ruskin then offers his own perspective, adding sparse percussion and different synth elements to offer a driving counterpart to the original.

The flip side starts with ‘Vostrax’, a strong, powerful production that teases you with acidic elements that breathe in and out of solid rhythmic, distorted drums. For the final track of the EP ‘Televised’ slows things down in tempo, but still offers a hard hitting edge.

Scary Beautiful consisted of five DJ sets in which Nastia played pre-selected unreleased tracks by electronic music producers from all over the world that are now being released as a compilation of five LPs via Nastia’s record label ‘NECHTO’. For some artists, this has been the first shot of making their work heard. 
   For the second instalment of Scary Beautiful, Nastia visited Chernobyl - specifically the Chernobyl-2 facility, where the Soviet over-the-horizon radar station 'Duga' is located. The destructive explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant happened nearby at the city of Pripyat, Ukraine. The second release of the Scary Beautiful series contains a mesmeric, yet haunting sound that fits the now abandoned area and includes tracks by music producers from Ukraine, Spain, Portugal, Russia, Argentina, Slovakia, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
