Ryan J Raffa is an interdisciplinary artist based in Taipei, Taiwan. Their work is rooted in the transformative power of improvisation, informed by personal geographies, the prismatic lens of Eastern thought, and observations within our shared sonic vocabularies. Raffa has solo and collaborative releases with Muzan Editions, Mystery Circles, Aural Canyon, Shimmering Moods, Group Tightener, ato.archives and Longform Editions. Raffa is about to embark on a US tour with their duo, Reign of Ferns, with Andrew Weathers playing improvised sets of Fourth World fever dream music.
