After years of being lost at sea, the ancient scrolls containing the long sought after fragments of X-Coast were discovered. It was decided that the transcripts be pressed onto plates and scattered throughout the realms, so that the age-old knowledge may never be forgotten.

On the front side of the disc, we deciphered two XTC transmissions. The first, "XTC I" dates from the original session. The second is the final attempt known to us, "XTC V".

The reverse side unfolds with an interpretation of "XTC V" by the prophet known as Foamek, who brings it to new, uncharted reaches of euphoria. The next scroll, titled "Horns" is a real collector's gem, played just once before during the inaugural X-Coast Boiler Room - transmission Belgrade.

The plate ends with what we believe is the first X-Coast session ever recorded. Simply called "Horizon”, it was evident that the inhabitants of the island stumbled upon something legendary.

This is a one-time opportunity to obtain the scrolls. Do not let them fall into the wrong hands!

Pumping hyper rhythms, bright infectious chords, and booming baselines are tearing through clubland, and thankfully, this project has em' all. Nehza Records shares its fifth release, False Nostalgia by Neida on 24th February Following 2021's Slowing, French artist Neida returns to RONI's label with a 4-track EP ‘False Nostalgia’ will be available digitally for pre-order on February 3rd, and released February 24th.

 As the title suggests, "False Nostalgia" is an ode to the past. In this case, it's the heady days of the 90’s rave scene.
Musically, those in the same generation as Neida long for this era. Realistically, they didn't experience it firsthand, hence the use of "false" in the title. Paying homage to a simpler time when climate change was nothing but a rumour, the track thumps with chunky drums and a cartoonish synthline, evoking ecstatic energy and feelings of enchantment — the kind you can only feel at a hedonistic rave. "I see this piece as an invitation to live in the present," says Neida. "And to take into account the issues and problems of today and tomorrow."

IMOGEN returns to Sunil Sharpe’s Earwiggle imprint, this time with Ben Pest for their first full release together, ‘Volts’, out today. Over the four tracks, the pair showcase their diverse style as crossover the realms of raw techno and UK hardcore, channeling volcanic energy. ‘Shibooty’ is a perky take on Chi-town techno with cartoonish vocal sequences, humming bass and elevated funk levels. It’s a groover!

IMOGEN is a resident at NTS and fabric and has previously released on femme culture, HE.SHE.THEY, Lobster Theremin amongst others. Bristol-based artist Ben Pest has collaborated with Radioactive Man, made appearances on Off Me Nut, Riot Radio Records, and Asking For Trouble and released under the OverworX moniker.
