Home Brewed Studio is based on the edge of Victoria’s Yarra Valley. We are nestled between Lilydale, Mt Evelyn and Coldstream and enjoy a semi-rural setting. Home Brewed Studio is an easy 50 minute drive from Melbourne’s CBD with access via the Eastern Freeway and Maroondah Highway plus a number of public transport options.

The studio space itself shares spacious and open living areas with natural light, acoustic treatment and a beautiful rural outlook.

Our recording system is based around a MIDAS Venice 320-32 channel British analog console. 60 channels of ADDA conversion is taken care of by RME and Ferrofish. Pro Tools software runs on a Mac Pro and is controlled by an Avid Mc Mix. Monitoring duties are performed by ADAM A7X speakers and a Central Station monitor controller. We are collecting an ever-evolving stable of quality microphones, instruments, FX, outboard and software processors.

If you’re planning on settling into the studio for an extended period we can offer accommodation in our guestrooms at a very reasonable cost. Being based on the edge of the Yarra Valley we have any number of cafes, restaurants, wineries and craft breweries close at hand.

Home Brewed Studio is a relaxed and homely space encouraging you to be creative and focused. We want to make your next creative experience an enjoyable and memorable one whilst being conducted in a professional recording environment.
