Taylin aka Home Team keeps busy in the studio with releases on esteemed labels: Rhythm Vibe, The Pool House and Plastik People Recordings. In addition to production, he holds down residencies with Cultivate in Osh Kosh and JAMS in my alma mater capitol Madison, WI! Go Badgers 😝 Home Team has been a strong player in the House scene in Wisco and even finds time to travel down here for the occasional Queen! gig or two. Hope you enjoy and we'll catch ya next year!

Technically speaking, he's one of the best I've witnessed spin wax. I am lucky to have had the pleasure of opening up for him & Harry Cross for JAMS in 2019, back when I was fairly new to vinyl. Welcome to Episode 8 of AZZA's Friends featuring the one and only Home Team!

Home Team is a beloved Midwest DJ and House/Garage producer based in Wisconsin who has been making noise and whipping dancefloors into a frenzy for over ten years! I remember the first time I ever saw him play at Cardinal pre-pandemic and shazaaming most of the set!

Our friendship took off when I opened JAMS with him before Garett David in fall 2022 and we've been homies ever since! After scorching the JAMS floor as a headliner the following year we knew we needed his energy and passion as a part of the crew! Knowing him as a fan first and a friend and collaborator second has been a wild journey realizing he is as kind, funny, wise, and driven as he is talented!

Joining the JAMS crew is just the latest in a long list of accolades that he is too humble to mention normally. With productions released on numerous labels like Rhythm Vibe, Cheap Talk, The Pool House, Aterral, and Plastik People Recordings he has also continuously made waves as a performer alongside Paul Johnson, Michael Serafini, Garrett David, Fortune, Justin Long, Carlo, Adam Port, Jevon Jackson, + many more. He also finds time alongside all of this to be a resident DJ and organizer of the Cultivate series based in Oshkosh.  

Home Team is always in high demand for his energetic, danceable sets balancing sensational deep house and garage grooves with a perfectly timed cheeky anthem or Bjork favorite.  He is uncannily calm and present on the decks and has a way of channeling his style and touch in to every record he puts down. These beloved qualities are what make this special mix so much fun! After such a long DJ career people may try to pigeonhole your sound but Home Team always knows when to catch you off guard - in this case with an hour-long mix of furious jungle, drum 'n' bass, and uptempo breakbeat records that I'm sure were thrilled to have a space to play out.  

Sit down and strap in for an hour of pure energy and release with Home Team - showing us how a great DJ can subvert expectations and force our feet to the floor and our hands towards the the Shazaam app!
